Professor Farrehi is one of the best instructors I've had. He's so sweet- always available for students. He is super smart and knowledgable and you can tell he loves teaching. Go to class, ask questions, do the work, study reasonably, and you will get an A.

The material consisted of confusing slides and recordings of his screen while reading them, and often didn't match the questions asked in assignments. He does not give clear due dates, but still holds you accountable. Emails asking for help or clarification are either given brief, confusing responses or ignored. The textbook was a better teacher.

Professor Farrehi is a great teacher. He is very patient, and genuinely enjoys what he does. The class material is a bit boring, but that's the nature of the topic. Professor Farrehi does have a unique accent (guy below is right, I think?) but easily understandable. I plan to take classes with him again--one of the best profs here!

Great professor. He knows his stuff and is willing to help. Homework and tests are straight forward although the class can be alittle boring. One of the better MCS professors i've had. i would love to have him again as a professor and plan to.

Professor Farrehi is a great teacher. he's very smart and knows the material well. The material is tough, but he is very patient. He has a unique accent (combo of English and Italian, maybe?) but you can understand him just fine. I'd definitely take a class with him again.

Sweet, grandfatherly type. Runs a very informal class, with focus on hands-on activity, rather than the text. Tests are fairly easy, except on the sections where he tests on language syntax, which are tricky. Double check your returned exams, as occasionally makes grading errors! Overall, good instructor.

He's smelly, hard to understand, and loves his powerpoint. We didn't learn a thing until the projector broke so he had to use the board and his brain and not just reiterate what he put in a powerpoint presentation. All and all it was an easy class, just don't expect to learn from the teacher, learn from the book.

I had two problems: he taught the material in the most unclear way possible, on three seperate occasions I was marked down when the answer was right. He's understanding and willing to work any problems out. I'd take a class of his again.
