Very nice professor and overall chill class. Video lectures were boring and tough to listen to. Exams and the quiz were straightforward if you did the homework and her reviews. Be warned, though, as a group project leader you will likely have to do a lot of heavy lifting yourself (like making up for the slacker who didn't do their part)

MAS3114 is cake if you actually study. The lectures are very straight forward. Review the online homeworks and reviews at the end of each section for the exams.

She overcomplicates the lectures. The material is pretty easy overall and if you stay on top of everything, it's an easy A. The most annoying thing about this class is the group projects which can be time consuming, especially if you are placed in a bad group.

Can't understand a word she says in class. I watch the recorded lectures. Homework isn't bad, group projects are challenging programming assignments. Tests are a bit easier than the material covered in class. I studied from the homework.

The class material was easy which made this class doable. However, she doesnt teach well and its hard to understand her sometimes. She uses learning catalytics for attendance but I did it remotely so I never had to actually go to class except for exams. If youve never coded before the projects can be difficult just hope you get a good group.

If you know how to do the homeworks you'll do well on the exams. Show up to class to do the little quizzes in lecture for easy points. The only annoying part of this class is the projects where you code in Matlab. Some people in this class have never coded before or don't want to do their part. I hate online classes but just take her online.

Professor Williamson is everything I look for in a professor in terms of administration. She answered all emails and concerns i had within the hour, grades are received for almost all material within a day as well. You will always know where you stand in that class, and you will always have the resources available to get where you need to be.

Her lectures are like reading a textbook out loud. Your grade will depend entirely on how good your group is for the projects.

Worst math teacher I have ever had. Lectures are terribly boring and poorly coordinated. Projects are not graded reasonably and often times if a group member is a slacker, you get and A for him or fail with him. An unreasonable amount of homework. Would take Linear Algebra in hindsight with another teacher even if the class is harder.

It can get pretty tedious, but it's definitely an easy A. Lots of extra credit is available, and the final is optional.

Very difficult to listen to - her lectures actually gave me headaches on several occasions, on top of being tedious and hard to understand. You'll learn more from doing the MyLab homework than from lectures, but participation is mandatory for a grade. Group projects are also mandatory and the usage of the rubric is not clear.

Here is my guide: I stopped watching the lectures after the first exam. Most of her lectures are just her explaining the theory. To pass the exams, all you must do is watch her unit review videos. Practice those problems over and over and you will do very well on the exam. Final exam is optional. The HW is weekly but easy to get done.

This class is a lot of work, but a lot of easy work. Lectures are pretty lengthy and numerous, but watching at 2x speed helps a lot and you can knock out weeks of work in one night if needed. Homework is where you learn, and there are guided solutions for most problems. Exams/projects were easy, quiz was a joke (open book... could just use MATLAB)

AVOID HER AT ALL COST! She won't care about your grade. She gives ALOT of work and its not easy at all or explained well. Her exams are super hard and you don't have enough time to finish. She has lecture quizzes, homework quizzes, exams, and projects (none are easy). Everything is done by hand. She is quick with an e-mail response though.

class isn't very hard, but she's poor at lecturing unfortunately. group matlab projects that may or may not suck depending on who you get stuck with in your group.

I highly suggest you NOT to take her for advanced calculus 2. Her tests consist of 3-5 proofs out of 25-30 she wrote in class and 5-7 computational problems from homework assignments. Also she does not curve the class. The highest grade on the first exam was a 62%, where 66% was passing.

Did not use text. For online class, print out her lecture notes and fill out while watching the lectures (1.6x speed) and completing LCs. Get used to MATLAB. Tests aren't bad, just do the HW (lets you try a question 3 times). I got sick and gave her doc's note and she was nice about extending some HW deadlines. One test is dropped.

She was a very nice professor that had great notes - I would recommend that you buy them from Target Copy and fill them out as you watch her lectures, because they are a great resource when it comes for studying for exams and quizzes, as they are identical to the material from the notes. Even as a beginning programmer, the projects were fairly easy
