Comment:

He inherited my class after my 1st teacher got sick, and he handled the transition with grace. He was very caring and kind and fast to respond to any questions I had. The class is very much self directed and organized. I liked the textbook, I learned a lot from it. The assignments were also fun and interesting, helped me learn the concepts better.

Comment:

Nicest teacher I've had at Palomar he is very understanding and will answer questions if needed. Expect to read and do homework and read but he is fair at grading your papers will also help you with extra credit. You won't retreat taking his course, I took his Interior Design 115 for the summer fun course.

Comment:

Mr. Hahn has been my favorite teacher so far at Palomar. From the first day I was not only interested about the subject of business, but he was funny and had a unique style of teaching. He does a lot of group work assignments and individual assignments that are due by the end of class. He offers a lot of extra credit and does online group tests.

To sum up the semester: Attend class to do the in-class assignments, take the online exams (you can make-up each exam up to 3 times), and participate in the final group project. He's a very fair grader and even offers extra credit if you really need it. All of his assignment are fairly easy. If you simply try, you should get an easy A.

Great teacher. If you passed 8th grade English, you should be able to pass this class with an A. You will still learn. He is very generous with showing up late (at least for the 8:00am class) and turning in your homework, etc. He seems strick the first day, but is really great and lenient, as long as you usually try and do your homework. Took him for marketing. So funny and easy going. He works with the class to make sure everyone does well. First day of class he says if you don't get an A you fail in his mind. Because NO ONE should be even able to get lower than an A. And it's true. He's just awesome. If you don't like his accent, you shouldn't be studying business, change degrees

Terrible online class. Very unclear and disorganized. Should not be teaching a Business English class, because he makes constant grammatical errors. Will even make grammatical errors in emails after we just learned the proper rules in an online module.

Unacceptably bad online class. I had to drop this class after reading some of the announcements posted by this teacher in blackboard. I counted 34 blatantly obvious spelling/grammar errors in about a 300 word post that he made. Far too many mistakes for any teacher let alone one that teaches English! It is insanely hard to understand what he wants!

He is so unclear about what he wants us to do in his online class. Posts one thing in the syllabus and then something else in his announcement on Blackboard, and then when you ask him to clarify, he gives you something completely different! Very unorganized!

Professor Hahn is extremely nice and funny. He is very helpful and easy going. One of the things I liked about his class was the comfortable environment he creates for students. He makes sure everyone is well respected. Easy A if you do the homework and show up to class.

I learned grammer over the summer and he does not use the grammer rules I learned. He does not explain his reasoning and does not help the students understand why. All he says is that the rules change. Seriously though why is someone with has a thick accent,doesn't pronounce words correctly,along with studdering a lot, teaching an ENGLISH CLASS!!!

Mr. Hahn was awesome. He explains things in a way that relates to everyone. He's also willing to do wat it takes to make sure u do well. Very helpful. No homework, only classwork, so show up. Easy. Tests are open internet & sometimes open book! Can't go wrong if ur a bad tester like i am. Hardest part is business plan..& that was no biggy. TAKE HIM

One of the easiest A's I ever got. Just turn in the homework, even if it's late, and you'll get an A. Gave us a take home final that was a little long, but I doubt he graded it. You won't regret this.

This class is an easy A. Hahn gives extra points and lets you make up assignments that you missed. Go to class; there are several in-class assignments every day. He lets you use notes on the tests. Just go to class and you'll get an A.

If you want as easy A take Hanh. You will learn nothing, but it will help the GPA. Will work with you any way he can to make sure you get that A i.e. make tests, extra credit, anything! take home final!
