Comment:

Eh, NAS2 was one of those classes that is self taught. She goes over things but doesn't really teach. She kind of gets an attitude if you have a question or responds to your question with a question. Oh and don't you dare do homework while your in class. This class is passable but you really have to do a lot of studying on your own time.

Very stern and grades on spelling. Counts off half a point if off by one letter, counts off full point if more than one letter is off. She is tough but gets you ready for upcoming medical classes.

Don't take this teacher she has no idea what she's doing. she jumps in and doesn't tell you where she's at. your lost most of class. she's boring the material she uses doesn't seem up to par. she acts like she doesn't care about teaching. Goes over junk that you already did so wastes your time. every other class was a quiz. do not take her class!!!

Takes too long to grade quizzes and practicals. I found her to be more helpful when she would walk into other lab classes I had before this one. Her quizzes are hard and she is a stickler on spelling.

This class is far from entertaining. She always has this I don't care type of attitude. She doesn't really teach. Instead she reads off of a power point and expects you to get it. If you want hard test and homework every week this is the teacher for you.

Had a quiz every other class and 3 tests for this pre-req class. Also, the assignments she gives to do as homework she'll calculate it to the test as bonus points for you. Thorough knowledge of the subject and will answer any questions if you need help. She's also a very understanding and well respected teacher.

Professor Wright is a tough teacher but unlike my 141 lab professor, Ms. Wright prepares you well for exams and the practicals. This class is hard, spelling counts and she is a tough grader on quizzes. However, she runs the bio labs and knows her models well. I felt Iike she was always fair and made clear what structures were being asked about.

Pretty easy class for me since I had already taken chemistry and had previous knowledge of most of the stuff. The hardest part was probably the last test because we flew by learning it. She takes long to grade papers. Overall easy class, although I know some students stressed. Only a pass or fail class so don't stress it.

This review is long overdue. I took her for NAS2 and I passed with a 102 avg. Show up for class, always have a scantron and pencil. I personally preferred to record all of her lectures, and each time I re-played it I learned more and more! I was flying through tests and passing! She knows her stuff, and it's her class that prepared me for 141.

Love this teacher and her love of the subject! She's clear in her expectation and she's very approachable. Great teacher!

There are only 3 test. Mid term, final, and quiz average. You may get lazy on quizzes but it's so important to maintain your best effort! It's very easy to fall behind

She is VERY knowledgeable and you can tell she loves science, she is kinda quirky and comes off as a "tough teacher" at first but she is very helpful (if you ask for help) and gives out more than enough information and handouts... tests are fairly straightforward.

Ms. Wright does prepare her students for the practicals but her quizzes are hard! Ms. Wright creates her own prelabs that help prepare you for the next lesson but she uses the post labs in the manuals and the diagrams in the manuals are not that good. She takes over a week to give you your practical grade back!

Professor Wright was a great teacher! Very passionate about science, she rubs off on you!. Recommended her class to a friend who's taking it now and they say the same. Highly suggest!!!!!

Guys! Lisa Wright will actually prepare you for the midterm and final practicals. She is a strict teacher though, but that is to help you do well at the end. You have to put in some work to get the grade you want. I highly RECOMMEND her to you. Posting review is not my thing but I have to post this review. That is my way of saying thank Ms. Wright

I failed this class last semester with another teacher, but the semester was great. She helped me with information i was missing on my study guide. she gave us homework to get extra credit points on our tests. she gives you quizzes to make sure you understand the material. she was great and i hate science.

Great teacher i am glad i took her. She prepares you for the practical which counts the most. Just be prepared to study regardless who you take. But i definitely recommend her.

I took Ms Wright for the, now mandatory, 8wk A&P pre-req Fall 2013 semester. She was absolutely AWSOME! Tests/ quizzes come right from note outlines she posts on blackboard. She gives lots of extra credit for homework on Mastering and handouts. She really tries to prepare her students for success in A&P I and II. TAKE HER!! YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!!
