I would definitely take this class if you are looking for an easy A. Dr. Yoder-White is such a sweet and kind professor, and the class is SO easy! There are only a few outside projects and a couple of quizzes. You have to go to class, because you have a lot of in-class assignments, but they are always with a group and a are lot of fun!

I currently have Dr. Yoder-White and she is so sweet and an amazing teacher! I love that class. She makes learning music fun. I would recommend taking her class!

i loved her. she was strict but only preparing us for the real world as future teachers. i'm tired of hearing slack music majors complain about pity things. if you ever have the opportunity to work with her anywhere, you should, esp. if you value your future as a music educator!

This is a HORRIBLE teacher. You are allowed two unexcused absences. After that, she takes points away from your final grade rather than factoring attendance INTO your final grade. You could effectively fail the class with an A average because of this. She is also too lazy to check late work even if it was turned in 2 days after the due date.

This teacher is the most ununderstanding teacher I have come across in my entire life. If you have a university sponsered field trip or something, she will count those absences as absences and not excuse them. She is the biggest Bitc* in the world, I am extremely excited that she is leaving after fall 05. All I can say is I pity her future students

if you have complaints about the class, it's because you aren't willing to work hard. she wants to be sure that everyone in there actually wants to teach. if you ever have a problem, just talk to her. she's really willing to help.
