Total of 7 quizzes - All 25 mc choice questions. They are difficult. I would read the textbook and match it up with you class notes. This is the best way. Do not read 3 times. Will not help any more than one time did. Drops lowest quiz grade, optional final. Also at the end of semester offers 2 extra credits work 5 points each so stay in class!!!

There are only 7 quizzes total and he makes them super difficult and tricky. I never got higher than 20/25 on the quizzes and studied for days in advance. If you go and take proper notes you should be okay and atleast get a B. Go to class!!

No homework, attendance doesn't count. You take 7 quizzes and the best 6 count. Final is optional and only counts if it helps your grade. I didn't read the textbook at all and still got a B. All lectures slides are posted online. All quizzes are 25 MC. He's a nice guy, a good choice. If you want a better grade then I suggest reading the book.

The class is really interesting and prof Muraven uses plenty of examples to clarify most things. There are 30 question quizzes every two chapters and an optional final. You need to read the text book and should show up to class because the material on quizzes relies on both sources. He's funny and interacts with the class rather than just talking

I genuinely love Mr. Muravens class. Yes, it is early and quite difficult, it is very worth going to. If you don't go to class, chances are you won't pass. However, he is one of the best professors I've ever had and makes class so interesting.

You don't have to go to class to get a good grade. Read the textbook, it's actually interesting, learn the quizlet terms on his profile, and do the practice quizzes on the website on BB. I did it the night before and it took me like 2 hours, max and I got a 24/25 on the first quiz. Optional final if you have a bad grade, other than that an easy A.

Muraven is a very smart professor, but when it comes to this course it is as if he expects his students to already know all the material. The quizzes are very difficult and if you don't read the text book thoroughly passing this class wont be easy. Go over slides, review the quizlet page and do all the practices quizzes before each exam.

This class is very quiz/test heavy. If you do not read the book you will fail the quizzes. I would highly recommend showing up to lecture because some of the things he says are on the quizzes and NOT in the book.

A lot of people don't do well in this course because they don't attend the early morning lecture, it's like an hour long, and they don't read the textbook. YOU CANNOT GET A GOOD GRADE IN THIS CLASS IF YOU DON'T GO TO THE LECTURE OR READ THE BOOK. The quizzes are very difficult. He says you should read the textbook 3 times but once is fine.

Recommends reading the book 3 times - not necessary. Read once, know the vocab, read the slides and take the online practice tests and you should be fine. A lot of students only come on test day and leave after the test. However, students who attended classes were awarded extra credit so show up if you can.

Grades are only based on quizzes which are every two weeks, then an optional cumulative final. Slides are posted online and that's what the quizzes are on, as well as vocab from the textbook. Know the experiments as well as being able to apply what you learned to hypothetical situations. STUDY!

I have no idea why Prof. Muraven gets a bad rep. almost didn't take his class because of it but so happy that I did. If you pay attention in class the class is fairly easy. He is a phenomenal lecturer and is so very interesting to listen to. Relates things well to students and gives ample opportunities to improve your grade. Awesome guy

I feel like he's a good person and teacher in general, but not a good professor as a whole. There's 7 quizzes throughout the semester, and although he drops the lowest score you must do well on all the other quizzes or else you will fail. Attendance is not taken, but it's in your best interest if you attend all. Only take this class if you have to.

Muraven is so boring, the entire class is either empty or snoring. The quiz questions are often trick questions, and his lecture material hardly ever covers what is asked on the quizzes because his presentations are vague and he goes off topic 9/10 times. A class that should be interesting and easy is nothing of the two. DON'T TAKE HIM.

Would never recommend anyone taking his class. Not very approachable, struggled with the wording of his tests, asked for help, told me to read the chapter again. You must understand concepts and theories 110%. Answers on quizzes are very similiar. Likes to mind f/(!
