She was an amazing professor. She is retiring so she won't teach anymore undergrad classes but she was such a great professor. She gave out lots of handouts and went through examples. She even had Saturday study sessions right before an exam. I wish all my accounting profs taught like her and were as easy to talk to.

It's accounting, of course the subject and tests are hard. But she explains it so well, and offers saturday sessions (and brings snacks) for exam practice. She isn't easy, but she really teaches instead of reading slides all day long. I was very sad she decided to take a break from teaching, she was the best!

I'm going to miss her! She is retiring. I am glad I got to take 121B with her before she retired. She really cares for the students and even had Saturday review sessions which were very helpful. Show up to her office hours and she is more than willing to help you succeed.

Extremely tough class. Everything taught prior to each exam is fair game, so be prepared to practice a bunch. Overall grade is comprised of three exams worth 100 points each, homework assignments/classwork/worksheets totaling 120 points, and a noncumulative final exam worth 100 points. Hosts weekend study sessions prior to exams.

Best accounting professor. Too bad she won't be teaching anymore after this semester.I was looking forward to taking her for advance accounting. However, I am glad I had the opportunity to experience her class her last semester at SJSU.

She is truly an inspiring teacher. She makes difficult concepts understandable and she provides students with enough opportunities to succeed in the class. She drops 2 of the lowest quiz and homework. 3 midterms and 1 final non-cumulative. She gives extra credit points on quizzes.

Took Calegari in the Fall, you get 3 midterms + non culm final. Her method of teaching is easy to understand, just pay attention in class. She drops the lowest two quizzes and offers a take home portion for extra credit on each exam! She also hosts exam reviews the weekend before the exam and exams are fine as long as you study her study guides.

Professor Calegari does everything she can to help students. She is the ONLY professor I've known to host review sessions on weekends. You'll almost never find professors that are willing to take their time off to help students. She wants everyone to succeed. The key is to review all the in-class assignments she gives you while doing practice.

She's a very tough teacher. In the beginning i didnt think i could pass the class, but as the class went on I got the hang of how to study for her exams. You definitely need to spend hours of studying for her class or else you won't pass. As a teacher shes not that great.I had to teach myself everything using the book.

She gives very little extra credit. total about 5pts. It's true the class is super hard, and she tests you on actually knowing how to do the concepts. Lots of calculations. she seems a bit lazy on teaching and tells you to just read at home. She also plays favorites. She is rude to those she does not like.

Caligari was really nice, but a bit confusing at times. Not an easy class, and the one midterm was really tough, but if you study you should be fine.

She is smiling all the time but she is not capable to answer students questions in class. She may know the stuff herself. But she doesn't know how to teach at all!

She thinks she is a good teacher. But by no means she is. She wasted a lot of class time preaches her teaching philosophy without practicing them at all! She does not spend enough time preparing the class!!! Lazy. Therefore, you can expect she wasted time either looking for her materials or just murmuring "ok" "alright" "uhmm"

i think a lot of people dislike her for giving challenging exams. But i love her teaching skills, she taught everything clearly when i took her couple semester. That's important as there are some professors in school cannot even teach clearly. also i don't think it's impossible to pass her class, just understand and practice a lot. should be ok

THE WORST TEACHER EVER, NEVER TEACHES ANYTHING, JUST READS PP AND TELLS JOKES, WASTE OF TIME, TESTS ARE NOT WHAT SHE GOES OVER IN CLASS, EASY EXAMPLES, HARDEST TEST QUESTIONS. YOU WILL NOT LEARN ANYTHING OR PASS ANY OF HER CLASSES.

Best accounting teacher I've ever had. Her classes are difficult and take a lot of studying but I've actually learned more in her classes than in all of my other classes put together. MUST do the homework and quizzes several times to get a good grade on her tests. Knowing the material inside and out is a must for this class.
