I took public speaking and loved it. She really loves students and teaching and totally invested her time in me. She acted like my mom away from home making sure I was doing okay, checking my schedule with me etc. Would recommend to anyone!

her speech class is fun actually. it was usually my last class of the day and the least stressful, so it helped. you will learn to talk in front of the class many times, and to give different types of speeches. and from observing other people talk, you find out what a good speaker does. if you pay attention and do the work, you will be fine.

ms. richardson is hilarious. She's easily the funniest prof I've ever had, but she's also one of the most knowledgeable and helpful. She didn't let us get away with not preparing for our speeches, but she structured the class in such a way that we would want to go all out and really impress her.

Ms. Richardson is an excellent instructor, she tells you exactly what you need to do, how to do it and how she wants it to be done, but doesn't look down on creativity. Take her speech class and you will learn to fear nothing!
