He's an excellent professor when it comes to Physics and Astronomy as opposed to his poor performance in biology. He'll share stories that will get the class off-topic, but gives you full attendance credit if you listen to them. Tests are tough, and he's not very good at answering homework questions.

I had bad views of him at first, but I copied his notes (IMPORTANT!) took notes from the book & attended class. This is college so you have to work to succeed and he makes you do just that. His tests are VERY hard, and he is old school, but show interest & hard work & see what happens. He is one of the best and THE most intelligent teacher I know.

This man is brilliant. He's one of the best teachers I've ever had in any of the colleges I've attended. He's not easy to follow, and has no patience for laziness or ignorance. If you try for him, he'll bend over backwards for you.

This guy is great. Period. For everybody else that has posted something bad is because they didn't try in his class, plain and simple. Yeah, he's old school, but you know what, since the "old school" has left, look at our society, its a shi**y mess! Kids don't care anymore. Probably his worst feature is his "gotcha" attitude on tests. Couple that with his inability to succinctly phrase a question (although this may be an intentional effort to obfuscate) and the sum is a difficult instructor. Although I support his goal to push his students to greater efforts, I'm afraid that the result is he is souring them on biology

Rambles aimlessly to himself and never actually explains anything. He sometimes has the appearance of being humorous, but really he's just entertaining himself. If you ask a question about something, he sneers at you as if to say, "how dare you be unclear about something I said and be bold enough to ask me about it" DONT TAKE HIM!

He's terrible! I had to drop the class, avoid this guy at all costs. Crabby old man, not helpful and I think he probably hates his students and the fact that he's still teaching. If you want a 4.0, taking him is making it extremely difficult on yourself.

I had this professor last semester and for the first few days he was fine. Right after the first drop date, he went off on my class for no reason and told us we were all stupid and we werent grown up enough to be in college, that we might as well get out now, and that we couldnt handle his class.

Oh goodness where do I start. He doesnt realize hes not at VMI anymore and wants to punish the kids like they did there. He has a bipolar thing going on where if your class has too many kids that express themselves he gets agitated easily. I honestly think he aims at the black girls in my class. They are the only ones he really gets angry with. Sad thing is that the school does nothing to improve his behavior. He makes the school look bad when he has a bipolar attack and freaks out on a kid. DONT TAKE HIM.
