Comment:

Matt is the best prof you could get for Legacies, and for an FSEM. He is a crazy little Italian man, but he knows what he's talking about and he's very helpful when you're developing ideas for your papers. The workload is pretty light and you're grade is very much based on participation so you'll get the grade you put in the effort for.

Comment:

Matt is wonderful. He genuinely cares about you and exudes enthusiasm. He gets side tracked and can be confusing at times but the class is super laid back and discussion based. Definitely participate and try to get to know him. He's brilliant and a little crazy ball of energy. He will help you out in any way he can. So glad I took this class!

Matt is the BEST prof ever If you have the chance to take a class with him DO IT! He will change the way you view what a good prof is. He is not the clearest but he really wants you to find a topic you like &find interesting and he wants you to go with it Much of his class has to do with the individual so you always get to write about what you want

Matt is a sweet dude. He's hilarious, and super intelligent. Class is all discussion-based and laid back, but you can definitely get into it if you want to. He places a lot more emphasis on ideas than on writing, and I'm really glad I had a class with him.

Awesome dude. He makes class really fun - there's never a dull moment with Matt. He's super helpful and is open to any idea that you may have. He really reaches out to students to make sure they are having a good college experience. If there's one professor you absolutely have to take a class with, it's Matt.

Matt is like no other professor you'll ever have. He is brilliant and knows the texts as if he wrote them, but still wants the students in the class to lead the lectures. He's also very helpful if you're stuck on something in class. He really cares about his students and wants them to have fun with learning. Our FSEM had dinner at his house once.

Matt is crazy and brilliant, but lets you do all the thinking. His class is entirely discussion based and often turns into heated debates. It is a bit unorthodox, but great if you like speaking. His class is always the first to be filled up so incoming freshmen definitely take his class, it will be the best chance you get plus it is a core!

Matt Leone is the most amazing little man ever. He is so funny and goes off on tangents. He's too smart for his own good and if you're lucky, you'll learn a lot from him. Take any class you can with him. He's also a great fsem advisor!

Also, if you're not a big talker in class, don't take it with Leone; he doesn't really talk much in class and expects everyone to moderate at least 1 discussion

Matt is great! It's almost like he has so much information in his brain that it is just constantly spewing out radomly. You learn something new everyday and he is always willing to chat with you about anything and everything that is on your mind. Great as an FSEM Professor although he can be a bit scatterbrained at times.

very awesome professor! i learned a lot from this class. i came in HATING reading and writing, but when i left the class i learned to appreciate good writing..etc etc. interesting class if you like to SPEAK UP and share ideas as well as reading and writing. pretty lenient prof; east class. however, you never know what your grade is until the end...
