Comment:

Dr. Woessner is one of the most well-read professors in his field at Penn State Harrisburg. He speaks in paragraphs during lectures with careful precision and eloquence, and, while he can be a little severe in demeanor, he is generally approachable. He will dissect your essay like a brain surgeon operating a scalpel--with dexterity and insight.

Comment:

I had no interest in taking this class but it turned out to be my favorite one. This Professor really knows his stuff, he makes lectures hilarious and I really enjoyed listening to them. However, if you want an easy A, this course is not the one to take, he makes you work for that grade, but it's worth it!

I don't necessarily agree with his political views, but I think he's a fantastic professor with an intense passion for the subject matter. Very down to earth, cool guy who always made class enjoyable. Exams aren't hard, just study the terms and you'll be fine. On a lighter note, he uses simpsons clips in lecture and it's brilliant.

What can I say about Professor Woessner? He is the funniest guy ever! His lectures are ok. There are 3 in-class quizzes based on the lecture notes you take, 3 online quizzes which you can use the internet or lecture notes to do well on them, and one cumulative final. His in-class quizzes are pretty hard so be prepared! He cares about his students!

Do not take Dr. Woessner's courses if you're looking for an easy A, even in a beginner's course. His exams are extremely difficult and precise. He may have harder tests and more intense ways of calculating participation then any other professor I've ever had, but I've learned more in his class than with any other professor.

As someone who is currently in law school, I can attest to the fact that many actual law school classes are different than the Con Law Course he teaches. I did extremely poorly in his class simply because no matter how hard I worked, I could not understand his opinions and it seems like that is all that matters for grading. It's very ironic.

I adore this man. He knows what he is talking about and is practically a genius. I love his classes and the material he teaches. They aren't easy classes. He expects you to do your work and study. But I have learned more from his classes than all other classes combined. I give his teaching an A+. It's helpful that he's easy on the eyes too.

Dr. Woessner is one of the best professors I have had. His tests are hard, but he covers all of the material in his lectures. He is willing to work with anyone who needs help. He is a great professor and knows his information inside and out. However, if your a lazy student do not take the class and expect a high grade.

He is on of those teachers that people either love or absolutely hate. His tests are terrible, and many people failed them. He is a huge Republican and likes to voice his conservative opinions. As a person I like him, but don't expect to get an easy A in his class.

Professor Woessner is certainly a bright individual, with a unique teaching style. I took his class for Constitutional Law, did good enough, however, I did find the class to be very boring. He selects his students at random for class participation by using random note cards, which was horribly executed. But, all-in-all, it was a pleasure.

Low rates are definately from lazy students. Lectures 80% of time were boring and dry, but showing up for class and doing assignments is more than half the battle! Hes a very approachable professor, and willing to help students, provided they make the effort!! The essay exams were only difficult if you didn't do any homework!!!!

This guy plays by the book,he is rigid. If you need one point to pass a test he won't do it. I think he is terrible,do not take him. He is not the worst professor ever, but he is definitely one of worst.

Comment:

Had him twice. I hated the class while I was in it but now I'm glad I took it. It is HARD but I learned more than I've learned in any other class at PSU Hbg. Do not take it for a cake walk. It is not. He is helpful if you go to see him. I would take him again if I could.
