Harper is by far the most knowledgable professor in the Economics department at UWF. He is well read and well versed in every school of Economics you could think of. Class is hard, but well worth it to hear his educated insights into the modern Economy.

Dr. Harper is a walking textbook. The course is not a walk in the park, but if you attend and grasp the very basics of the subject matter you will do well, but I say expect to fail the 1st test. They are hard, but curved. Dr. Harper is what I would like all of my professors to be.

Not Helpful, Arrogant, 9 weeks into class, have not received any grades on quizzes or midterm despite numerous inquiries. Hard to get a hold of. Immature concerning class feedback.

He really loves teaching his subject matter, which is always nice. Would bring in internet news feeds to discuss current economic events. I found lectures based on the text to be a little dry, but he definitely knows his stuff backwards and forwards. Really nice, stays after to answer questions. He loves class participation, so don't be shy.

The questions on his tests are so essay and multiple chose and they are so hard!! He acts as though you are supposed to already know a whole lot about economics before you enter the class. I failed and he never seemed concerned. Don't take this class
