Any class with her is super easy, tests are open book and notes. I took her twice. One class was take home and the other we did it in class. She is the nicest soul i've ever seen walking this campus. I learned a lot more than public speaking, i learned about life. Any class that you need and it has her name, please take it. Seats fill up fast.

At first upon walking in the class, i thought she would be very strict. But then getting to know the class and her lectures she is quite a comedian, and a wonderful professor. She will make you laugh 10 times through her class guaranteed.

I love Professor Hite. Sometimes she gets a little extra/loud on how she teaches, but she gets the point across. I can say her class was comforting in a way, and im glad it was bc speaking in front of people WAS a scary thing for me. Her tests are take home except for the final, which is TRUE & FALSE! AND her hw is optional. Take her! shes gr8!!!

I LOVE HER!!! She is awesome. She is very inspirational and funny and her class is so easy it's impossible to fail. There is only a few open book tests and three speeches. Easy A. TAKE HER!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!

I took her class last semester, I felt like I was transported back into a church in missouri in the 80s. All she does is talk about her religion and expectations for the speeches. tests are open book but your grade depends the speech. Do it her way or she will embarrass you in front of everyone and fail you. Prepare for her boring stories too.

She is such an inspirational teacher and I commend her for taking the lengths she does to help her students. She makes you feel comfortable in your own skin and gives amazing feedback and makes a lasting impression on you if you pay attention and perform your speeches. There are only a couple of tests and 3 speeches for assignments. She's great

This is a passionate professor. Whether you have her for speech, theatre, religion or public speaking, you will love her. I know for theatre there were 4 tests only which were open book and notes. Final you just get a playbill from a play. Very easy clsss, impossible to fail, highly recommended. She's also funny and doesn't like when we talk a lot.

I absolutely loved Professor Hite! She makes you want to learn. All tests, minus the final, are open book and open notes. She is very helpful and wants all of her students to succeed. For the final, you could take the test or go see a play or musical. I wish all teachers were like her. I would recommend her to anyone!

She was an amazing teacher and loved her students. I enjoyed her class very much except for the fact that in the middle of the semester left to North Carolina on impulse (with her gradebook and without telling anyone- even her boss). I thought that was irresponible for a women who claimed to love her class and teaching, it was dissapointing

There are not enough words to describe Prof. Hite! She is CARING, FUNNY, HELPFUL, ENERGETIC.. she is just the BEST Prof. at BCC!! I took her night class and did not miss one day. Her class is fun! She makes everyone feel very confident; you will never be scared to talk in public agian. TAKE HER CLASS! Open book tests & no homework. She is AWESOME!
