RG is a demanding professor and her tests are really difficult. However, she makes complex processes easy to understand and is extremely encouraging if she can see that you're putting in the effort. There's a LOT of memorization in this class though. Make sure to memorize as you learn, or you're going to get slammed on the exams.

Dr. RG is so nice, like she is SO NICE, but the class content is very difficult. Dr. RG is a really good professor and she is always accessible outside of class, so go to office hours! Her class may be hard, but RG is willing to explain concepts and truly help you understand. TAKE GOOD NOTES! DON'T SKIP CLASS!

Dr. RG is such a gem! This class is really difficult and regardless of the effort I put in, my efforts seem to fall short. Dr. RG however, is always willing to answer my questions and give feedback and she genuinely wants her students to succeed. I HIGHLY suggest you go to office hours and SI sessions, I regret not utilizing these resources sooner!

Definitely the hardest class I've ever taken. I was a very good student in high school and going online, especially for a course this difficult, was not optimal. I regret not going to office hours more. BE CAREFUL: If you misplace one word in an answer on a test then most of the question will likely be marked as incorrect. I'm going retake.

I've never worked so hard to continuously do so poorly in a class. I went to office hours, SI sessions, and tutoring for this class, but apparently not enough. Tests are impossible -- I felt so prepared going in but barely scraped a B/B- each test. Quizzes are so different from the tests. RG is wonderful but expects a lot. Be prepared for Bio 208.

Dr. RG is an amazing professor who truly TRULY cares about the success of her students. The class itself is extremely difficult but she is available for any additional help. GO TO OFFICE HOURS!! Be prepared to work and think outside the box in this class and don't be hesitant to ask questions. Dr. RG is amazing

This class is really hard, it's a weeder class for science majors for sure so get ready to work. She goes fast in lectures but posts power points and lets you voice record so you can relisten. Go to office hours!! she gives great feedback one-on-one and will re-walk you through anything you don't understand. Overall, one of my favorite professors!

This class is insane. Stay far away from this class if possible. Class requires way to much critical thinking. She wants you to do well but if anything this is more of a logic and critical thinking class. Tests answers are tailored towards her specific answers and she gives literally no partial credit for even attempting the problems.

Dr. RG initially scared me so much. My biggest tip is to GO TO OFFICE HOURS. Even if you don't have a question. Listen to what other students are asking and participate. Talk about yourself and your career goals; she listens and can help. Her tests are difficult but get a study group and whiteboard. She tests what she emphasizes in class.

Insanely difficult class. failed Once and now retaking might fail again. This class is was harder than ochem for me. It doesn't matter how good you are at bio, if you have superior critical thinking and logic skills, you will do well in this class. There is no memorization to be done in the class. Dont take this class with any other hard classes.

This class was the hardest class I have ever taken in my life. I devoted 90% of all my studying toward this class and am probably going to end up with around a C. She's a great teacher, but if you dont practice and do not like to study I do not reccomend taking this class

RG has been my favorite professor so far. Lectures are incredibly detailed, organized, and will teach you more about MoGen than you ever wanted to know. Tests are not call and response with the information but rather make you interpret new information with ideas learned in class. She will help you with whatever you need if you ask. Very caring.

One of the hardest classes I have ever taken! Dr. RG is well organized, passionate, clear, and straight forward. BUT, she is an incredibly difficult grader and she assigns A TON of assignments. Her lab is also very hard. She is so specific and memorizing everything she says exactly the way she says it is the only way to do really good.

RG treats freshman 208 student like seniors to teach you how to be a successful college science student. Tough grader. go to office hours and ask questions, get clarification. If you have a hard time taking notes, find a peer who takes good notes and study theirs like crazy bc lecture is KEY. She was my favorite professor all four years.

I really loved Dr. RG's class. She is an excellent professor and is enthusiastic about the material. Tests/quizzes are difficult and you need to know the material inside and out. Go to SI and office hours. Not an easy class, so don't fall behind.

First Dr. RG is a nice and caring professor. Her class is quite difficult, however, RG knows Molecular Bio very well, and can answer just about any question that you may have. Tests are notoriously difficult and make you think critically about the material, so lots of studying. Although the class was hard I liked RG's teaching style.

Dr. RG gives good lectures and explains the material... she is just an extremely tough grader. She expects a lot from her students and looks for very, very specific answers in homework, quizzes, and tests, and it is hard to do well if you cannot provide that kind of answer. Very consistent between HW/quiz/test questions, no surprises there. Use SI.

Work hard and be very specific in every assignment and paper! GO TO OFFICE HOURS! Very helpful to check answers to post lab questions.
