Comment:

She is so amazing. There are only 2 take home tests and the final is presentation/paper. Only used the book in the begining and it's cheap. I wouldn't miss because you never know when she would hand out bonus or snacks! Plus it was fun to go because she's entertaining and loves her students. She's knows we pay her salary and loves teaching us.

Class was pretty much a joke. Only two take home exams all year, a paper and presentation instead of a final. Attendence isn't mandatory but I wouldn't recommend missing. Highly recommend taking Dr. Gido, she is very intelligent and very connected. Make a good impression

One of the for crim, can get away with only coming to class once a week and still pass. All tests were papers that was not hard as long as you try. Willing to help you whenever you ask.

Dr. Gido is a fantastic professor...Her style is different because she doesn't cover a broad range of topics, she picks out some and hammers them home. Only had 2 exams in this class, paper and an easy presentation instead of a final.Highly recommend

Very helpful prof. She has a lot of guest speakers in the class. 2 exams, (midterm and final) group project and research paper. Exams were easy if you went to class and paid attention. I recommend taking her.

Dr. G really knows so much about this topic & tries to get students involved. Poster presentation @ a undergrad scholars conference is mandatory as a class grade. Visits to prisons and guest lecturers. Interesting and fun course...seems as Dr. G was a little stressed with her students this semester, tho!

Brilliant teacher. She really knows how to do her job well. She will bend over backwards to help anyone. She got us tours inside prisons, which was cool. I was very impressed and would recommend her to anyone.

very warm and helpful woman, she'll be terribly honest but you learn more in her class than many others. very solid teaching style, one of the best profs i've had
