Comment:
POL2093 Modern Pol. Thought: This class is all lecture, which is based on readings. Mosher is incredibly smart and knows his stuff. Unfortunately, his lectures have no organization. This is frustrating, but if you try, the few exams and papers should be easy enough. The rambling is worth it for his good theory explanations,, if you care abt that.

Comment:
Mosher is absolutely brilliant. Sometimes he is hard to follow but he is also kind of a pushover so you can get away with getting lost in a discussion. He assigns essay topics and then basically tells you what you can say in class. Lots of reading and the lectures are very ambiguous but the class isn't too tough and he's a very cool guy.

Comment:
Mosher appears to be interested in the material he teaches, but is incredibly disorganized. Lectures often start on-topic and devolve into him talking about tangents for the remainder of the class. Tests rarely cover material from the reading or lectures.

Comment:
Nice, brilliant, man, but he lectures in the most fast, random and incoherent way. I had a 4.0 as a junior and received my first B in his class because I could not make sense of his lectures. Also, we only had two papers and a final...which made it hard to determine how you were doing in the class. I won't take any more of his classes.

Professor Mosher is okay. He is hard to follow sometimes and seems disorganized. It is sometimes difficult to understand assignments and what he expects. He is willing to answer questions and seems generally interested in his students.

I want to have this man's intellectual babies. He's brilliant and provocative. He cares about his students, not just their philosophical standpoints but their well-being. I wish I could take more of his classes.
