Easy class, great professor. Class was once a week for 2 1/2 hours but we usually got out early. 2 tests and a final but he gives you a study guide. Also, gives a lot of extra credit points for showing up to every class.

I loved this class! The material was hard, but he made it easy to learn. He works at Western State hospital so he knows what he's talking about because he deals with this stuff on a regular basis. His tests aren't too terrible and if you complete the study guide he gives you you'll be fine. Class met once a week and was 2.5 hours but worth it.

Shutty is a GREAT professor. Since he works at Western State, he actually is knowledgable on this information. It makes for interesting lectures. I really enjoyed him this semester and was one of the only classes I truly LEARNED in. 2 hours is long, but don't let that shy you away from his class. Its completely worth it. Tests aren't too hard.

Great professor and GREAT class. Definitely challenging, but he makes the content clear and is helpful. He is extremely knowledgeable and truly desires for his students to learn. I would definitely highly recommend this class.

Very interesting class. He is a licensed clinical psychologist so he knows his stuff. Fascinating stories & helpful class if you want to pursue clinical. Tests are kind of confusing, but manageable since he gives study guides. Fun class, but usually keeps you the whole time. Definitely recommend. An A is possible if you pay attn. & go to class.

Shutty is an awesome guy. His class is interesting, but his tests are HARD!! The class only meets once a week, so he keeps you the full 2 1/2 hours, which gets really tiresome. I would take nearly 8 pages of notes a class. Works at Western State Hospital, so he knows his stuff, since he sees it daily. Really good guy, but DIFFICULT class!

I liked clinicla psychology until I took this class. I studied so hard for all of his tests, they were ridiculous. I got a B in the class, which I don't understand because I got C's on the first two tests. Be prepared to work for your grade, otherwise take Counseling Psyc instead.

Wonderful professor. Knows a lot about psychology and wants his students to learn just as much! I have learned a lot in this class and am really looking forward to the trip to Western State to shadow him for a few hours. Tests aren't easy, but they aren't impossible. Go to class and study!

Very interesting guy. Works at Western State Mental Hospital full time and class gets to go. Knows a lot about his field and lots of examples. Very difficult tests however and holds you the full 2 1/2 hours. Read and take lots of notes (unlike I did!)

He is very clear and the information is interesting if that is the field you would like to go into. It is like an extention of abnormal psych. The tests however, are very difficult. But what else can you expect from a 400 level class.
