took Intro to Mass Media, was the easiest A I've ever gotten. Did almost no work, just listened to the class discussions and watched interesting documentaries, an easy test at the end. She is so incredibly lenient and genuine and nice.

She's awesome! sometimes you have no idea what shes talking about, but she's really easy going, and the class is actually really really fun. the projects don't sound easy at first, but once you get started you can do it in no time.

Very cool lady! Likes to talk and know what you think about. Understanding when it comes to personal situations that go on in your life. Reports are easy. You can come to class 15 mins. late and it's all good. She still helps me out with things that go on in other classes that she has nothing to do with. She REALLY DOES CARE!!!

This woman is awesome. I took mass media and society and broadcast news writing together over the summer. Aced them both. One of the most helpful teachers I know of. Do the assignments and study, the material is simple and seriously interesting.

Monica Pombo is a wonderful person. She will do anything she can to help you out. When I had a paper due and my cheap-ass computer was messed up she let me print twelve pages off of her computer. She was so nice about it. I was astonished. I actually learned in that class… TAKE HER CLASS.

Dr. Pombo is very informed and shares with her students very well. Her knowledge of issues in media made the course very interesting,and this was one of those "I want to go to class" classes, vs the "I need to go to class". Video selections were very effective as was open discussion. I would reccomend Dr. Pombo for any class. Shout out to Brazil!
