By far the WORST professor I've taken at GMU. She is Rude and simply does not care about her students. She doesn't read through the discussions that she assigns and will report/ threaten to report you to the honor committee. I took her online during COVID. worst experience with a prof I've ever had. I wish I could write more in this post!! BEWARE

I'd rather graduate years late than to take her again. UNACCOMMODATING.5 essays(500points out of 795 for semester).If not written in the way/format she likes, fail. She doesn't want to hear your interpretation but the textbook's (but will gladly threaten write up to Honor Committee for plagiarism).Learned nothing as more focused on format.

If you take the time to listen to her lectures and read the textbook, the class isn't all too difficult. She is a very tough grader on the essays and doesn't elaborate beyond the rubric. She also isn't very personable and can come off rude.

I would definitely recommend taking BULE303 with demory! You have to put in a lot of time into this class but if you go over her powerpoints and listen to her audio lectures then you'll do fine on the tests. There's 5 tests and she lets you drop the lowest test grade.

Comment:

Demory is a stickler on the essays, but not so much the discussion board posts. Very unfair in her critique of essays and will not offer you a chance to explain your point and request a re-grade. I think she just glazes over them and looks for key words. I don't know if she's lazy or just rude. Be prepared to read a lot and take a quiz every week.

She is very rude. She is very self-centered and really has no regard for her students unless you suck up to her. I don't recommend taking her if you're looking for a professor that you could find outside of class and get useful tips from. She's a tough grader but if you dig into the material yourself you can pass. Overall, I'd pass on her.

I took Demory for MGMT 431 and overall the class itself isn't terrible. There is a lot of reading to do but if you read you should be able to understand somewhat. She gives an essay every week and grades harshly. She also has no disregard/respect for students and will call out people for forgetting to do something for the group work.

The WORST online professor i have ever had. I hope she reads this and changes her style. If you're taking this for a filler- DONT. It is a GPA buster. No matter how hard you work on the essays, she will grade you a 60 or 70 and go off a completely different rubric. Will not give you points you deserve. Hands down awful . DO NOT TAKE HER.

Her class has a crazy amount of homework. She is not reasonable when grading. I had a problem uploading my first essay, but would have the perfect score on it and she didn't accepted. Even having almost all As in everything else through the whole semester she still didn't consider my essay. I will not take this professor again!!

She gives you everything you need to do well. The people who are complaining are just lazy. If you put even a slight amount of effort into the class and aren't a complete degenerate, you'll be fine. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

Took her and I must say her lectures were very boring, and the exams were very tedious and had nothing to do with her lectures. In my opinion not a good teacher at all, seemed like I had to teach my stuff 2/10 ratings for this one.

5 tests, 5 writing assignments and will let you drop 1 test and 1 writting assignment if you have enough participation points. helpful during lectures bc she gives a lot of hints about the test. participation assignments are very similar to writing assignment. she wants you to pass. no extra credit. come to class, pay attention, participate, pass!!

I've taken this professor twice, and both times I've learned a ton about business law. Most students complain about her essays, but they are all open-note and she painstakingly tells you exactly what she wants in them. It's not the easiest A to earn, but you'll actually learn something about business law as long as you put in some effort.

Extremely rude to students I have noticed. Not helpful at all when you ask questions, very inconsiderate and does not answer emails. Also has a habit of trying to accuse students of cheating for no reason. Stay away from this one.

Very mean professor and person, does not show consideration if you put effort in her class. Is very rude to students and does not make in class lectures clear. 0/10 ratings, makes the class a lot harder then what it needs to be and loves giving students hard time. Avoid at all costs.

Essays feedback is very rude that may stop you to study and totally different then what shown before so confusing. She is one of the tough grader at mason who always seeking something to pick and gives zero for the good written assignments. If you are still taking this class with her thats all your fault.
