Olga is a wonferful mentor and a great instructor. She deeply cares about student's success and goes above and beyond helping them. I took for both MIS300 and 462 and can say that with confidence. I will miss having her as instructor, but I know for a FACT that her office door is wide open for her students to come in and ask any questions!

She does have an accent but it's managable unlike other professors. She cares significantly about her students and it shows. She does do short essay questions in her exams which you NEED to make notes of during lectures. Be very specific on making notes during review days, they give a good layout of the exams.

Lecture heavy - she goes over a lot of PowerPoint slides. Assignments are overall easy if you paid attention in class. Group project consisted of creating an online website for a small company. The project feels like a drag, as it has MANY steps to it. She goes over what is on the tests thoroughly, making studying easy. Very nice, but unorganized.

Awesome Professor, hands down would take her again. Pay attention in class because she covers everything on the exams in class and if you ever need help with anything she is always willing to help in class and outside of class. 10/10, one of the best MIS Professors I've ever had.

Petkova will cause you death by power point. However, this is covered by her EXAM STUDY GUIDES!! Which make her a solid choice. There is a group project which will be the main thing you'll be working throughout the class.

Definitely knows project management forwards and backwards. Her tests are not difficult if you prepare well for them- they consist of multiple choice and open ended questions. If she sees that you're putting the effort in, she will work with you. Great professor, take as many classes with her as you can.

She does have an accent but you can understand her. Just do your homework and assignments in class. Her class is a lot of work but it's really not that bad. She helps you a lot also. Her exams can be hard. But for the final she helped us all out during it. She doesn't mind if you work in groups too and she's the sweetest lady.

She has a thick accent so sometimes she's hard to understand her. She also makes silly mistakes sometimes, but she's human, so it's no big deal. Homework, class work, quizzes and projects are easy. Her exams are hard because they are based on the book, not what we learn to do on the computers. So study up and you'll pass.

Great professor! Would definitely take again. Gives a lot of work in general, but really easy. If you're confused she will take the time to help for sure. She has a great personality and accent. The work is to only help your grade, a lot of 3pt assignments. Learned a lot in her class, very fair, will give extensions if needed. Not harsh at all.

Personable, intelligent, and accommodating with deadlines. Wants to see her students succeed inside and beyond the classroom. Was clear about the content of exams and gave good feedback for the group project. Do the HW, study the content she highlights, and you're set!

Petkova is simply the best. She's very understanding and helpful. Accepts assignments late without penalty and is straight forward about what is on her exams. While she was not clear in some of the group assignments, she was always there to help us if we had a problem. The most caring and helpful professor that I had this semester.

Petkova is an awesome teacher! She knows her stuff. She's very enthusiastic and wants all her students to do well. She does have an accent but you get used to it as the semester goes on. She does a great review before tests and lets you know everything that will be on it.Take notes, study from the book, do the projects and you'll get an 'A'.

She's very nice if you attend class and participate frequently. There is a lot of online work, like 1-4 assignments every class but you can take your time and hand it in whenever. Test's are pretty difficult but all of the other work will help your grade as long as you do it before the semester ends. I'd reccomend her
