His feedback is useless. He definitely won't help if you ask. His class was a nightmare. He was so consumed by his own vanity (he IS hot) that I don't think he could properly address Grammar. Just take Smyth, if at all possible.

Very smart guy. Knows his stuff. If you're an English major, you want to take his course. Although it is challenging and tedious work, it will greatly benefit you in the future. Homework after every class, a few tests and one major paper. Don't count on easy A but it's worth it to take.

Tells you every little thing that is wrong with your paper, but combines it with the good. All in all makes you a better writer. As long as you put effort into your work, you'll do well. Plus for every paper, he'll cancel class for a day to do 15 minute conferences.

Awesome guy. If you're serious about English, you'll want to take his class. He's one of the few teachers who has actually taught me something new. You need to be willing to put in the work though. If you do, he's your best friend. Very understanding guy and always willing to help.

Listro is one of the best professors I've had. I took him for Grammar, and I learned more than I thought possible. He's demanding, expects your work to be completed, his tests are tedious and time-consuming, and he can be condescending at times, but he's funny, helpful, and knows his stuff. I would take him again if I had the chance.
