Dr. Jung is a very illustrative lecturer. He uses great detail to describe the events that happened in history pertaining to the class material. His class is clearly outlined and he is always in a good mood. It was truly a fun class to be a part of and I would recommend him for any class possible.

Dr. Jung is extremely knowledgeable in the topics he teaches and makes lectures quite interesting. He is funny and easy to access outside of class. Be ready to read and write - his exams are long and have quite a bit of material.

Dr. Jung was my first English class once I got to high school and I can say that I am upset that he doesn't teach GS 1002 because I would take it without hesitation. Dr. Jung has three papers and he puts extensive comments on them when grading your rough draft. He allows you to understand your errors and improve. Excellent teacher. End of story.

Usually there's homework almost ever night, though it's generally reading or watching a short video. After this, homework is graded via in class quizzes (though these are very easy, and are usually 3 short multiple multiple choice questions, if you generally know what was assigned for the day before's homework) 2 tests and 3 papers, study for them

Best HU professor at MSOE. Had him for Middle Eastern History, which I was expecting to be pretty dry but he presented everything in a very clear and interesting way, ended up enjoying the class quite a bit! Prep for his tests can be a bit lengthy but he basically tells you what to study and then writes the exams from a pool of that material.

Theres a quiz daily, super simple on the reading. You can get them right with common sense without reading, but the class discussion is on the readings. There are 3 strictly graded papers in the term, but he gives you everything you need to know. Read for his class even though it's not mandatory, it will make things easier. His class is the best!

Hilarious teacher, his class is relatively easy. Compared to the rest of MSOE it is a cakewalk. Manages to bring humor into his class, and get off topic just the right amount. He managed to make the class tons of fun while staying at least 3 days ahead of schedule.

I would recommend Jung for anyone. He is easy flowing and hilarious. Tries to make the most out of class. I looked forward to class, even though I didn't care for the content, just to hear what kind of references he would make and how he would make the class interesting. He uses good examples to explain the content as well, easy to remember.

Dr. Jung is fully aware that this is a humanities course at an engineering school and grades accordingly. He aims to have a class average of an AB, BUT: start your papers at least 2 days before they're due, do the reading, and spend 2 or 3 hours studying for the "exam" that he has week 9. You'll have a quiz 80% of the class periods, so show up.

If you do not want to memorize 50 vocab words that you have to spell correctly and over ten essay questions for four exams then skip him. He is very bias towards students. He is not very nice when you go to talk to him about why he gave you the grade he just nit picks your paper or essay.

Great professor. Took him for all my HU/SS electives. Lowest grade I received was a B. As long as you write down what he wants for the essays, and memorize the vocab for the tests it's an easy A.
