Comment:

AIS is an easy A class. Prof Socci's lecture is pretty dry and too long for a 3-hour night class. He gave out very few homework and both exams are take-home. He is a very caring person and I really respect him. Didn't learn much in this course tho.

I love Socci. He is a really nice guy and really cares about his students. Info Systems was a tough course to follow along from how boring it was but he was really clear on what would be on the midterm and final and is extremely reasonable in grading.

He doesn't give feedback until 3months after handing in homework. A though grader and boring lectures. He gives you 50s on easy homework. Told me he couldn't see my homework on the last day of exam. I could have handed in hard copies if it was earlier. Marked me with a 0/100. Worst prof ever

Eh Im torn with him. He can be a nice guy and the class itself was not bad but he screwed us at the end. He assigned this huge project that takes atleast a month in 2 weeks, without any outline or instructions. Expected us to construct a database with charts and a 20 pg report in 2 weeks. When we handed it in he called our assignment garbage.

He's a straight forward professor when it comes to exams. He gives you the multiple choice questions for the chapt to study and thats basically whats on the test. He has a good sense of humor and very helpful. It can get a little boring but its worth taken him for database systems.

He's the man and one of the best professors I've taken. If you do the work and go to class you will get a good grade. Theres a few projects and midterm and final which he gives you the multiple choice before hand. Class can be boring at times but its the subject matter. He has a ton of experience in business and knows what hes talking about.

He is the BEST. His sarcasm is hilarious. He knows what he's talking about. He tries to make the class fun. If you paricipate (and you dont have to know eveything to do so) and do all the work, you will get an A, guaranteed. But he doesn't take s**t from anybody, so don't get on his bad side.

Socci is the man! He gives you forever to turn stuff in and if you see him during office hours he'll show you exactly what to do. Tries to make the class interesting and for business majors he offers a ton of great advice. Take him if you can!

great guy, understands that this is a required class, so tries to make it worth your time. gives you incredible amounts of time for the projects he gives, which aren't too hard anyway. if you can't make one of his lecture periods, then all the notes that he goes over are online anyway, so you won't get too far behind. overall, a cool teacher.

Socci is awesome beyond anything! He was the VP for 5 Fortune 500 companies, so the man knows what he's talking about! FYI, he stopped doing the corporate thing b/c his wife was ill and took care of her. Unfortunately, she passed away, so he decided to go back into teaching. See him during office hours! He likes kids who give 110% and then some

Good professor - he knows what he is teaching - if you do the reading - do the multiple choice questions at end of chapter and just study and attend classes - u will do well. Socci is the man. He is the only professor Ive had twice, and both classes he was excellent. He's very wise and experienced, hes great to talk to. If you plan on being a MICS major, make a point of getting to know him because you will have him at least twice and he is the department head.

Great guy. Theres a couple easy projects and 2 tests. You can put in no effort and still get the A-. The class is boring, but u can play comp games while he teaches. Accessible during office hours and basically tells u how to do the projects if u talk to him. He is a must take.
