Great professor enjoyed taking his marketing class, lectures are clear and straight forward, do your homework and you will do great in his class. Overall laid back but in a professional manner.

He is a great teacher, who is willing to stay after class to answer question. If you go to class regularly and do all the homework, it is not hard to get an A in his class. The grading system is more than fair.

you have to ask questions, and kind of help guide him through the material because he is a little un organised - but a good relatively easy class - you can retake chapter tests etc..

Comment:
Mr. Gillepie requires an absolutly absurd amount of homework for the course. He spends too much time in lectures on stuff that will never matter. We didn't learn about clouds in meteorology until months into the semester. His lectures are boring, and he can't answer basic questions about his quizzes. I would never take from this professor.

He is a horrible teacher. Half the time he doesn't know what he is talking about. If you going into the health profession, do yourself and future patients favor; Take this class from someone who will teach you something. If you want a good grade take professor Thulin. Avoid Gillispie at all costs.

Lectures are confusing, but use the practice quiz as a study guide and ask very detailed, specific questions. Extra credit on all tests, tons of homework.

He dosen't know how to communicate, period. As a teacher he sucks. You will not learn anything in his class. His "quizzes" or tests are full of mistakes, so if you get an answer right, it will be wrong, according to the scantron. Do not entrust your education or grade to him. Do not take him! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Mr. Gillispie is a horrible teacher. He doesn't know how to interact with students and is very childish in his behavior towards them. He isn't clear on what he expects of you. But he will allow you to hand things in late.

THIS CLASS WAS A COMPLETE JOKE! I DON'T KNOW WHY THE OTHERS SAID HE'S EASY AND WILLING TO HELP, CAUSE IN HIS PHYSICAL SCIENCE CLASS HE WAS NOT! MOST OF THE TIME HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT AND COULDN'T ANSWER STUDENTS QUESTIONS. HIS QUIZES ARE VERY POORLY WORDED AND HE NEVER GAVE POINTS BACK FOR HIS MISTAKES ON THE QUIZES. BEWARE!

All of his tests have extra credit questions. Easy to get 100's on the tests. I couldn't listen to his lectures, they would confuse me. I did better just reading the text. He is very passive and the class is extremely easy.

This class was one of the easiest classes I have ever had--though I have never had a problem with chemistry. I only went to about 1/3 of the lectures and passed with an A. If you go to the lectures be sure to get a close seat. He speaks softly.

He is very quite and VERY hard to hear if you don't sit on the first two rows. He is extremly smart in this area but is not very good at explaining himself or his thoughts. He is an easy grader and provides student with very clear study guides for tests.

His quizes are really easy. He gives a pracitce quiz before each quiz, and then there is a retake test if you didn't do well. You have to read the book yourself because he doesn't explain anything well. But overall it was a easy class
