Professor Phelps takes the time to answer every question asked. He makes himself available via email to answer questions as well as reviews any issues at the beginning of class. Easygoing, patient, and willing to explain anything you don't understand, a different way every time until you understand the problem.

Great teacher, ive always needed a tutor on the side with all the math classes i've taken, but with him teaching & his lecture notes, i passed with a B. I'm terrible at math..i despise it..but Mr Phelps is an amazing teacher!

I can honestly say I have never liked a math teacher until I had Dr. Phelps. He is very clear and to the point which is something many math teachers seem to lack. I highly recommend him for those who are bad at math.

GREAT PROFESSOR!!! He's such a great guy. Great sense of humor and very clear with his teaching. Homework is done online and although it may seem like a lot, it's worth doing it because it's much needed PRACTICE that'll help you get that A. Tests are really easy - just review the given material. I suck at math and got an A...TAKE HIM if you can!!!

He takes the time to explain, very helpful, very lenient, homework is not too bad, its to make sure you know what you're doing, I wished he taught other classes because if he did I would make sure I chose him if I'd have to take that class. you wont regret chosing him as a professor

Great instructor, takes time to answer any questions and provides a great review. There is a lot of homework, but if you do all the HW and the extra credit quizzes -they proove to be very helpful and you will do just fine on any test. I wish there were more professors that took his style of teaching to heart, Mr. Phelps is highly recommended!

Very good teacher but at times can go a little fast. If you are lot catch up fast because the homework is very unforgiving. Around 40-60 problems for every class so it can get tiring.

He has been without a doubt the best MATH teacher i have ever had. In highschool I was the worst math student possible but by taking his class I am now a great math student and passed his class with a HIGH "B". He is very clear and understanding. If anything make sure you keep up with the homework
