I really liked her! She's friendly and funny and likes to get to know her students. She gave me productive criticism outside of class. She definitely wants you to succeed and classes are all about clarifying concepts. Essays are very short and as long as you take good notes on readings, you should ace her exams.

Absurd. Teaching a seminar-like class (with same amount of reading and work) to over 40 people. WAY too much reading, and just repeats the readings back to you in class. I've heard good things about her smaller classes, but STAY AWAY if there are more than, say, 15 people.

Her class was amazing. She held my attention the full 2 and a half hours, and when it was over I always wished we could stay longer. If she taught more classes, I would take them too.

Paula Giddings is a delight. She never tries to be anything she isn't -- she just sticks to her field of expertise -- Black Women's History. I loved her class. She is very easy to get along with. Her assignments are exceptionally clear and understandable. Her grading is very fair. Love her. A BABE!

Terrible teacher. She really could not lead a class if she tried. Her 5 minute pauses are unbearable and she stutters too much. She is always two weeks behind.
