I graduated from Concordia in 2001, so it's been a few years. I was a Psych major and took a number of Soc. classes, mostly from her.I VERY much enjoyed her classes and her as a prof, even though the first paper I turned in she graded as a C! I took her class last year, and I loved it. She has very good examples about everything she discusses, makes jokes in between and loves to hear from students' personal experiences. If you have to take a sociology class, try to get into her class.

Dr. Fassinger is very cool...She's a nice and thoughtful teacher. She made class fun for me. The only bad part about Soc111 was that we had to write reaction papers to turn in pretty much everyday.

I never could figure this lady out, especially for exams..I'd study my butt off, but I could never seem to get better than a B- It seemed as though every definition had to be perfectly memorized and regurgitated or else no credit! Ugh! What a pain!
