Rob is amazing. He helped me see that I was in the wrong major and set me on the right path. I had him for 211; he made the class hilarious. Mr. Howard is a good teacher, and he'll talk to you about anything. If you are having problems in class, just go to his office and he'll help you out as best he can.

LOVEDDD ROB! very helpful. go to class, all you do is have discussions on life topics which are very intersting. very helpful, will let you email your paper to him and will send you feedback and is always open to extending deadlines

Rob Howard inspired me to change my major to English. He knows quite a bit about the history of authors and the English language and makes the subject very interesting.

Very fun teacher! I took a 'Lord of the Rings' class, and we had a lot to talk about, plus we got to watch the movies! Go to class for the discussion, they will help you write papers. Quizzes are easy, and papers are graded pretty hard. Be sure to talk to him a lot about your writing, he is extremely helpful, and very available outside of class.

This class was really interesting and Rob is really fun to listen to. His tests and quizzes are really easy but he grades papers really hard. I got C's on all of my papers even after giving them to him to proofread a couples of times before they were due. Take this class but beware of the papers.

excellent teacher.makes class interactive.lots of discussions.occasionally holds class outside.incredibly friendly.He is very passionate about what he teaches esp Frankenstein. some will say he grades too hard. i disagree he gives out specific guidlines for every paper.Rob is also a huge fan of horror movies.

Rob is very knowledgable. He tends to ramble quite a bit, but he is very helpful. He will critique and proofread your paper over e-mail before he grades it for real if you get it to him a day or two before it is due.
