I don't believe this course was exceptionally difficult at all. 4 exams plus the final, three papers which were super easy, and really easy online quizzes. You really just have to set aside some time to read the book. Well, I did really good in is class all year and ended the semester with a 89.65 and HE DID NOT GIVE ME AN A-. HE DOESN'T ROUND!!!

Exams are kind of tricky and hard, but he gives extra points. He has an extra credit project that will boost your grade two grades up on the +/- scale. I ended the class with an 86.7, but he rounded it to an 87, and I ended the class with an A after retaking this class with a D. SUPER easy class, you don't even have to read all of the chapters.

Denney is really caring and willing to help if you reach out to him. The tests are not easy and are hard to study for but they're only half of your grade (THEY'RE PROCTORED). The other half is quizzes and assignments that are easy A's. He also offers an extra credit assignment that isn't bad and boosts your final grade quite a bit.

I took this class online and it was a lot of work, but it's spaced out so that it's basically only due one a month. Tests are kind of hard and you only get 60 minutes for 50 questions, grading for tests/discussions board aren't really clear, but it's doable. Even if you put in minimal effort, you could easily slide with a B in the class.

This is the only professor I have had at ECU that does not round final grades up. He grades papers extremely hard and does not give clear rubrics. Tests and quizzes are easy.

Honestly, this class is so fun to learn with him online! There's only 3 discussion boards, 2 papers, and 4 tests, and quizzes on every chapter! If you read the textbook like you're suppose to, then you'll do great!

There were a few discussion boards (5 or 6) and a couple of assignments, in addition to 4 tests. They were not that hard. I forgot about one of the assignments and didn't remember until a week later and didn't bother to send it in because I figured it was too late. At the end of the semester he let me make it up for full credit. He was great!

One of the best online professors ever! Do the assignments (2), journals (2), and discussion boards (5 not including introduction) ahead of time so you don't have to worry about them. The book is necessary for everything. Study quizlet for tests.

His test are very hard, I even studied for days before the exam and still could not pass the tests. But he does give remediation after every test. This remediation assignments are simple and you can get an 89 as the highest score. As long as you turn in a decent answer, you'll get an 89.

If it is possible, find another prof. to take. 1 hour time limit for 55+ questions and even though it is open book- lol- you are better off to read the book and study just so you know where to look- no time to look up answers anyone, b/c some nut(s) actually stated that they had enough time to look up the answers!Good luck.

It takes him forever to get grades back! He never added a point to one of my tests, even after I talked to him several times about it. The material is pretty easy. Just read the book. Everything is pretty boring, probably because he is old and still believes that students learn best from lectures every single class.

He is a very nice man. He also reminds me of my grandpa or that guy from Happy Days... he knows his stuff and when he talks about his grandson, his eyes light up and you can just tell he has a good heart. I really recommend him. He is also very understanding about assignments if you need more time.

Typical Distance Ed class, U must be VERY motivated to keep on track. Took class during SS1: covered 3-4 chapters each week plus test and a 2-3 page paper on covered chapters. I spent 25+ hours each week studying & writing papers. Open book tests BUT you have to know and understand the material in order to answer the questions. Highly recommend!

Obviously, the previous reviewer failed or got a bad grade! He is crystal clear in his expectations, and has no attendance policy. He expects you to be an adult and show up to learn. Imagine! Very professional and courteous. If you do your work and read, there is no reason why you shouldn't get an A or B.

He doesn't teach. He assigns projects the whole semester and sits at the back of the room and lets the student teach the material. He puts his two sense worth in every now and again.

I took this class online and the class was a blast. It required you to read the textbook but other than that, the class was very interesting. I learned a lot from the book and the syllabus was straightforward. The only bad thing was the fact that the tests and quizzes were sometimes posted late but he gave you ample time to finish it.
