Great teacher!!! He really knows his history and his stories are interesting! You don't need to go to class. He gives you a study guide and the test questions come STRAIGHT from that! Easy A!

Best history professor at CCU. I attended almost every class even though I didn't really have to. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about what he is teaching. I never really enjoyed history until taking this class. His lectures are so interesting and his tests are easy. No textbook! Definitely would take him again if I had the opportunity.

Wonderful professor. I've taken four classes with him so far, and I'm signed up with him again next semester. He and his assistant are very helpful if you ask. Also he stays after class to answer any questions. Yet, most students dont stay but those are always the ones to complain. I got an A+. Take him, he knows his stuff. Best prof. at CCU.

Great man, very nice! Would love to take him for another class, but Hist 250 is not his forte. One essay determined the ENTIRE grade for the class, and the Graduate Assistant did all of the revising and editing. Talbert nor the assistant were very easy to contact...sometimes took weeks to get a reply from them.

EASY A! All you need to do to get an A in this class is go to the lecture before the exam. He's boring but the class is soooo easy! Definitely take him if you can.

Dr. Talbert is hands down the most interesting and knowledgeable professor the History department has to offer! I enjoyed every minute of his class, and I'm an economics major! All of his tests are straight forward (39 multiple choice) and ONLY comes from the study guide he gives you the class before the test. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY THE BOOK!

Easy going guy, tests are straight out of the notes, in which he gives you an awesome study guide the class before the exam. Just fill in the study guide with stuff from the book. All exam grades, but in my case, they increased a little every time. Good Class.

Fantastic teacher! His lecture style was fascinating. More engaging than the best book I ever read. I never missed a day, even though I didn't have to be there. I always wanted to hear the continuation of the story. No Prof could have made it as interesting as he did. Really loved this guy. He was interesting even outside of class.

Professor Talbert is extremely easy. He does take attendance, so it is imperative to go. You do not use your book. Take notes, but it is not necessary since he gives you an outline with all the notes you need to know. He also reviews exactly what is on the test. Tests are painfully easy. An easy A. He is a nice man and knows a lot.

Easy tests.Just happens to be rude towards me for no reason in his normal life. tests are cake, but he can be a jerk if you try to talk to him. Best if you avoid him out of class, has no time to waste on students who wanna learn outta class.Very rude toward a student who is slow talker/thinker, makes rude jokes because he didn't understand evrything
