Comment:

Quiz for every chapter, about 2 a week. When reviewing the quiz after submission, you cannot view the right answer. There is no study guide, you have to read the chapters thoroughly, about 50 pages each chapter. 3 papers and 2 exams which are proctured or using camera. Too much info to retain without instruction on which info is useful for tests.

Comment:

Rarely grades assignments in a timely manner. Very difficult to get a reply email. Papers are graded extremely harsh. Quizzes have errors in the answers, pay attention. Papers are extremely picked apart; when the criteria is followed, it is not enough during grading. Least favorite class at CMU and can't wait for it to be over.

Comment:

Sandy is my favorite! She genuinely tries to get to know her students for a personal connection. She's funny, caring, & wants you to learn. I took Psychological Testing which was really difficult for me, but she was such a great prof that I made sure I could take another class with her. But, you need to study HARD.

Comment:

I loved her! She was a great teacher and her lectures really helped you understand the material. It was a lot to take in but if you study and follow the study guide you will be fine. The book is helpful at some points but she has detailed PP's. You have to show up though, or you won't do as good.

Grade is based on 13 short answer quizzes, four 10 point projects, & 13 BB exams. The short answer quizzes are okay as long as you study hard (more than you would study for a regular exam) The BB exams are very hard, they are directly from the book and are from a bank of many questions. She is unorganized, and doesn't keep grades updated on BB.

one of my favorite professors. if you show up and study for the in class exams you will get an A but you do need to show up and study. theres online quizzes that answers are found on quizlet and the in class exams are short answer but easy A if you study the material. TAKE HER!! very helpful and nice

Dr. Morgan is extremely passionate and an eexcellent prof. I was very nervous for this course because I am an SPE major and have heard horror stories, but I was pleasantly surpised. The class material is challenging but it makes you work and learn. You have to work and study but it's easy and Dr Morgan is always willing to help!

She is by far my favorite professor, she is passionate about psychology and extremely nice. She makes class interesting and relates the material to stories which made it easier to remember. Her tests are not multiple choice, but as long as you study you'll do fine!

Ms. Morgan is a wonderful professor who was encouraging, insightful, willing to help students, and made the topic interesting. I would gladly take her again in a heartbeat!!

I was pretty unsure before this class started on how I was going to enjoy it. Let me tell you, it's very interesting. If you study (all exams are essay) you will do fine. It's an easy A if you put effort into it. She is a great teacher that makes the learning fun and easy.

this class is a waste of your time if you are a SPE major. even though it's required i didn't learn anything that was relevant to the field and studied harder for this class than any of my others and i even took it credit/no credit. if you can find any way around it, do it.
