I enjoyed this class because I am a nursing major but she reads right from the powerpoints. The tests also have information that weren't even mentioned so you have to read your textbook. She also goes down the rows for reviews so everyone has to participate. She also just calls people out at random and makes you have a name notecard on your desk.

Dr. Jordan reads directly off of powerpoints in her class. Its boring and hard to pay attention. Shes not very accessible outside of class and isnt understanding. Dont miss class because you cant make up the activities. Tests are based off of the study guide and are VERY similar. She is not my favorite professor, but not my least favorite.

Dr. Jordan is a very sweet lady but her lectures are super dry and boring. I always did other work during her class. There is nightly homework but it doesn't take you more than 5-10 minutes. She does take attendance and makes you turn in assignments pretty much everyday so if you don't go thats a free 100 you missed. Lifestyle projecteasy 100

Comment:
Dr. Jordan reads straight off the powerpoints and does not answer questions clearly. If a student brings up a valid point or mistake, she'll make some kind of comeback that makes her seem credible. This is a 2 hour credit and I have more work in this class than I would in a 4 hour class. Overall, she really doesn't seem to care much or be helpful.

Dr. Jordan reads word for word from powerpoints, and if there's a mistake she doesn't know what she's supposed to say. Very boring class, and if she asks a question and no one answers she will randomly call on people! Tests are based off study guides, so follow that and you'll be good. Do not recommend!

Dr. Jordan reads straight off of the power points during class. If you takes notes, fill out the study guides and finish life style analysis projects on time you will succeed. Tests are based off of the study guide to a T.

Absolute worst faculty member at ASU. Extremely forgetful, doesn't make your concerns a priority. She is unorganized and doesn't respond to emails. Avoid at all costs!!

She was helpful when you went to her. The class was a hybrid course and her ta did most of the work. Only go to class for major tests. She really worked with me when I got sick and fell behind in class. She is a very nice person.

this lady couldn't teach her way out of a wet paper bag. she takes her notes word for word out of the book and still doesn't know what she put in them. But it not very hard to pass and most of the hw is simple but don't ask her for help she is useless.

i think her tests can be challenging, but she does hold high expectations and gives to the information if you ask her about test material. really sweet lady; in no way is she mean. if you attend class and take notes, you'll be straight. i never read for her class and pulled a 'B'.

This professor made it perfectly clear that she was not interersted in helping her students. She does not post grades, and expects way too much work out of students for an introductory course. Skip it if you can.

Very in-depth, fast paced class. Sarah Jordan was dry and somewhat sarcastic. She knew everything about nutrition, but also expected us as students to know as much as her.

Jordan knows what she is talking about, the only thing is that she jumps around the chapters and isnt clear on her assignments. Try to do assignments early so that you can ask questions about them. Read Read Read!

This teacher is a smart lady but teaching is not her thing. I hate that I have to sit through her long boring class while she rambles on about stuff that is way over our heads. And then she expects us to memorize the book for the exams

The main thing that is so crappy about this class is that she includes so much on the tests. They are straight out of the book but she is really hung up on numbers and stats. She doesnt really make it clear what she expects of you either.

Very hard teacher. This class wasn't meant to be this difficult as I've been told by people who took it before Prof. Jordan taught it. Exam questions come from nowhere and are very hard to study for. Too hard for this level of a class.

This professor treats her students like grown-ups and does not baby you. She is extremely helpful though if you have questions. She does her best to explain the material and sincerely wants her students to succeed. She even curves the tests.
