Best professor I have ever had. He is always excited to teach and is very good at what he does! He makes class fun, and it is super easy! He grades fairly and he lets you use reviews on the test! Love love loved him!

Sad to see him go. He decided to retire at the end of this semester and will no longer offer his wisdom and entertainment to the students at Tarrant County College. He graded fairly his tests were easy and you could make an A if you showed up to class on time and stay for the entire lec/lab. Hopefully he comes back after getting tired of retirement

Awesome teacher! No text book needed lets you use note cards on test which are mandatory. Goes over eveything that will be on tests. If you are struggling he will work with you but the class is very easy and so is his geol lab i made an A in both.

Easy class. I made a B. Attended lab maybe 40%. Only went to class the day before and the day of the test. I never studied. He lets you bring note cards for the test. And the tests are really common sense, the lowest I made was a 84. Take him!!

Sweet guy. Doesn't care about making students memorize specific details. The class can be a little boring b/c he goes over everything 3 or 4 times but it makes tests super easy. I never studied and got an A. If you're looking for an easy A and to fill your lab science requirement, then this is the guy for you.

I love Professor Keyes, he is by far the best professor I have had. He actually cares about his students understanding of the topics. He does not use the text book at all and he does not care about memorization. He is EXTREMELY helpful and understanding! I have never met a more awesome professor. My respect for him is at the highest. Great class!

Dr. Keyes is the best professor I've had so far and is very helpful, funny, and interesting! Tests are easy and all multipule choice. There is no need for the book. Great way to get 2 science classes. I took him for lab at 7am, and I am not a morning person, but he is well worth it. He also looks like a mad scientist LOL! Take him while you can.

One of the best teachers I have had the pleasure to deal with in the four schools I have attended. His grading is more than fair if you show up for class. I got an A in both classes I had with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He presents his material is such a fashion that it is interesting, not the expected bore of a science class.

Professor Keyes is the man! Extremely helpful in any way possible. He can be a little corny at times & repeat the same jokes, but it makes you like him more. Class was so fun and enjoyable compared to others I've taken. If you attend class & take notes, there is no doubt you will end up with an A. He really is a great professor!!

I took Mr. Keyes for a Summer I Ocean Science class. I had to be there at 7:30, and I'm not a morning person, so I did get there late a few mornings. He was very cool about it. Very interested and excited about what he's teaching and VERY willing to help (even during a test)! Just bring in some Chili Cheese Fritos and he'll love you : )

Scott Keyes is a blast to take! He succeeds in making ocean science fun. He is enthusiastic about his subject and excited to teach you. He is sure to explain things in an understandable way. I was actually bummed when the class ended. Great way to get science credit.

Mr. Keyes is an AMAZING teacher. He is the only teacher ive had that can talk all class period and keep everyones interest. Full of energy! No need for a book. He gives you everything you need. Mr. Keyes is fantastic. you won't need the book don't bother buying it. breaks down geology into the simplest terms,relatable to students even if they have no particular interest. Get points for attendance. go to class and take notes.tests are self explanatory and get to use notecards. Labs are short, don't recommend going before lecture.

Keyes looks like a mad scientist, but he's full of energy and SO enthusiastic about his students! Come to class every day, easy quizzes, and you can take notes on a test for your grade! SUPER EASY A! Just attend regularly and take notes and you've got it!

This guy is the best geology teacher ever. just go to class take notes, there's hardly any homework. and he lets you use the back of your scantron to write down somethings that might help you on the test. test is self explanatory if you paid attention in class. easy A.
