Will never take him again. Was very rude to me towards the end of the semester and completely quit responding to any and all emails I had sent him, whether it was about homework help or questions about the final exam. Glad it is finally over.

This teacher is simply terrible, I wish I had never taken him. He goes on and on about a simple problem for 30 minutes in class, and then when you have questions on the test, they are questions you have never seen. You get weekly quizzes that are given Friday night or sometime Saturday and due Sunday at midnight. Only take him if you have to.

Most of the lectures are wasted with unusual anicdotes and examples. but he will go over ever single homework question in lecture which will then be on the test. he normally is only able to go through 2-3 questions per class period so the class is VERY slow moving.

Tests are worth a lot of your grade, but he takes the questions directly from the homework and book. I had a D and midterm and ended the class with an A because I talked to him about my grade and he gave me bonus points for it. He will help you out if you respect him. If you don't care that much about learning physics, he's a perfect professor.

He is very unclear when he is teaching and will mess up during lectures and has to correct himself. However, if you show up to the class after exams he gives you a free 25% on them. He was also rude when I talked to him about my grade or try to ask for additional resources for help. I am only taking him again because of the free points he gave out

He connects concepts taught in class to real life applications. Makes awkward jokes but tries his best. Solves the homework in class. He uses the same homework questions for tests and exams. Gives free bonus points. Fast grader. On the negative side, he teaches really slow (i.e. goes over the same thing for 3-4 class periods).

While he was surprisingly funny, his lectures were incredibly slow paced. Halfway through the semester we were on ch 6 while everyone else was on ch 11... He repeated the same examples most days, so I recommend taking someone else, especially if you haven't taken physics before. He also takes away points if you skip, so don't! :( Easy A though.

I've only began the course, but so far I really like Dr. Huang. He is an approachable man despite what other's say. Go to class, show him respect, and do your homework. He makes lectures interesting and RELATES everything back to physics 1. It's sort of amazing to listen to the similarities he finds!

Dr. Huang is scattered and lectures were seemingly random, but he knows his stuff and as long as you go to class, he will work out every homework problem that he gives you. DO NOT HAVE YOUR PHONE WHERE HE CAN SEE IT. He will call you out and make it awkward for everyone. Also sit in the middle of the class and make sure you are there the first week

I took this class in the summer of 2016 and found it to be a very good course. He will pull the exam material directly off of the homework and examples worked in class. All together a great experience however if you do not do well on the exam you will feel it in your overall grade, he does however give you bonus points after the exams.

If you respect him he will show you the same respect, you don't show him respect you better not plan on coming back to lecture again. Literally one of my favorite instructors. He goes through every homework problem in class that will be on the exam. Take good notes and study those and you will be golden. Seriously amazing professor!

This guy cracks jokes often, which is nice, since the material covered is very dull. I took the night class with him and liked it a lot. As long as you do your Wiley Plus homework and pay attention in class, you will get an A. Everything on the tests is exactly from homework questions we do in class. He can be a jerk to students sometimes.

If you actually want to learn Physics don't Take this professor. If you just want to get through it and move on with your life it won't be that bad. He is demeaning and will not follow any kind of schedule or syllabus. Flaky and unpredictable. Doesn't like thought questions. Wants you to memorize not understand. Doesn't care about school policies.

As far as the Physics department goes, I'd say Professor Huang is one of the best. His lectures are long and he repeats himself a lot but he makes sure you really understand the material. If you actually pay attention and do the homework he assigns, you'll pass with flying colors.

Terrible professor. Doesn't teach any material, and makes students feel stupid if they ask questions rather than helping them. He thinks way to highly of himself. Not to mention his bad accent, and miserable final exam. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely horrible professor. He should stay on the research side and out of the classroom. He treats students like they are in 3rd grade and belittles you in class for having the wrong answer to a question. Completely unacceptable if a university level instructor. He is a problem professor that the university refuses to address

Incredibly boring. He would spend 50 minutes on 2 examples and would drone on so much, I would miss anything possibly considered important. He has a thick accent, but it wasn't terrible, but I learned more from doing the homework and reading the book. Made me lose all interest I had previously gained in Physics I.

I honestly don't understand the positive comments for his professor. He was, by far, the worst teacher I've ever had. Also, he is extremely demeaning in EVERY single class period. He is also extremely angry and condescending. I would never, ever take him for anything ever again. Just terrible all around!!

Shyang Huang was somewhat difficult to understand sometimes due to his accent. However, he explained things thoroughly and every question that was on his tests were homework problems or examples out of the book. Fun class and a funny guy. I would recommend him to any student.
