Comment:

MR. Forrester is so kind. He loves what he does, and it shows. He tries to make it relatable. He gives a review before each test, and it really helps. Quizzes are easy, but the material is on the test. Labs are kind of cool. He is really helpful in them, and loves to do them with you. He gets off track sometimes, but it's ok- he is great.

Comment:

I love this class, it was hard if you didn't keep up the book and go to the labs! But he is a great, and expects you to study and know your work. Test were hard, even if you studied for them. But I think he really does want everyone to pass his class. He loves to talk off subject, but he is funny.

Teacher prefers to thinks that he teaches as if you are in an advanced medical class, not an "intro". I was 1.8 pts from the next grade up and he prefered I retake the course, eventhough I only missed one class all semester. I would not recommend him unless you love to read and want no mercy.

Must read your book and take good lecture notes to do well in this class. Mr. Forrester is very helpful if you just ask him for help. Go to class each day scheduled, and attend all labs if you need help keeping your grade up.

Very nice and funny but impossible to understand. He does not teach like its an intro to biology class. Tests are nothing like the lecture or book. I would not take him again.

Professor Forrester is a wonderful teacher. This class is definitely not easy and you will have to study, but he is very down to earth and eager to help if you just ask. He is very intelligent, funny, and has a great personality. If you attend class, take good notes, and study you will do well. He also gives credit for attending class.

Forrester is a Bio genius. If you love Bio, this is your man. He expects you to read your book and know the subject matter, rightfully so. If you?re looking for an easy A or B, this is NOT the class for you. He does grade on a curve and gives you credit for attending class. He has a very charming personality and is easy to talk too. A great teacher

Great personality, but teaches Biology 101 like it?s rocket science. I am finding this class extremely difficult. What he reviews in class is opposite on the tests. Attend EVERY CLASS because you will need every point. He expects you to know the material like the back of your hand. Be prepared to study hard for this class.

His comments regarding what we learn in class will not apply to field of nursing were disheartening. He?s already stated the first test will have 100 questions. Seems a bit much 4 an introductory class. I don?t think he realizes people have other classes to study for as well as his. Feel like we are being expected to memorize the entire book.

Comment:

Biology for Majors: the class was fair, I felt I got out of it what I put in. My only complaint is I felt he let his religous views overwhelm the cirriculum, he seemed to feel the need to down-play evolution in favor of a creationist point of view. Otherwise he is very knowledgeable and I do feel like I learned a lot.

If you need hand holding-this is not your guy. He is extremely bright and funny, but he expects you to know the book and lecture notes inside and out. His tests left students in tears. He grades VERY FAIR though-so its worth it

Funny teacher!!! He was hilarious, but dont expect him to explain things to you! He gave no handouts, and lectured the ENTIRE 16 weeks. He expects you to pretty much have a good grasp on the materials beforehand, because he does not teach you...he just states the material and kinda makes you feel dumb if you ask questions. I had to work really hard

He was a good teacher overall. It's a good idea to read before the lectures to have a better understanding of it! I made a B in the class, so it was pretty easy : ) Definitely read the book and stay caught up with the notes and you will do fine.

You can tell Mr. Forrester has been teaching for quite awhile and definitely knows what he is talking about. In his lectures, he goes into great detail. The labs are fun and the class is too!
