He's not very smart just seems that way. And in philosophy you can't really be wrong, but he would say you are. In my opinion he's a horrible teacher and should retire before he does more harm.

I only have one question: Why isn't he a full-time professor? Tadd Ruetenik is not one to loom above the class in a dictator-like fashion, getting high on some powertrip. Class is like hanging out and talking about life. Reading Response Essays he assigns are pretty easy, too, since they merely ask for your opinion. Make sure you read, though!

I thought the guy was an awesome teacher. He gives you the questions to the exam ahead of time. The only problem is that on the last day..He spent the whole time reviewing the exam..But other than that, he's a cool teacher.

Loved the debate in this class, and Dr.Ruetenik let us go at it. Shouldn't all Phil professors? He treats his students with respect and doesn't waste a lot of time with useless notes, quizzes, exams. Just readings on the topics, and papers galore - short though. I really like this guy.

I LOVED this class. Prof Reutenik is awesome. The class discussions were great. The papers were graded just a little bit hard, but it's the such a great class. If there was another class that this prof was teaching, I would take it in a heart beat.

Tadd is a great professor. Always clear about material and if you are are good at essay tests take him. Wierd personality, but funny. The only thing that sucks is the reading responses on EVERYTHING you read.

Very extensive writing class, but if you enjoy writing you will do just fine. The exams are time consuming, but the time that you put in definitely pays off with the scores you receive.

He is a very ethical man. You can tell he has read too many books in his time. But his class is structured to for you to learn, and not to worry about exams. I learnt alot of good stuff in his class. NO final, but go to class.

He's definitely a strange one and a little scary, but if you go to class you'll do well. The readings are really boring and long, but you really just need the basic ideas.
