Comment:

Nice person but makes you change your project until its the way she wants it to look, even when she tells you its "your" project. Takes forever to grade projects and expects you to get them done in class, while she interrupts and takes time away from so called class time. Not big on using canvas, won't know grades until end of semester.

Comment:

Just awful. Disorganized and she doesn't know how to use a computer. Very easy homework. Copy some vocab words out of the book and write some shirt simple papers on a work of art to demonstrate you know the vocab. Her lectures are long and make very little sense. If you just do her homework there's no reason you shouldn't get an A.

Mrs. B is not a hard teacher by any means but her lectures if you can call them that are long, arduous and could be condensed. Her traveling around the classroom trying to talk to everyone can break anybody's concentration to their work and she tries to be very intrusive through conversation on your personal life outside of class which is no bueno

Nice lady, learned nothing. If you ask a question, you will probably end up more confused than you were originally. Fairly easy. At the end of the semester we are given a sheet to "rate the professor" and one student answered the question "how can we improve the class" with "get a new professor." His words, not mine.

If you don't like a grade she always lets you redo it to get a better grade. Basically, you end up redoing a lot of assignments because you don't know what she really wants until you already do it once... it gets annoying... but shes alright, just boring.

She is extremely specific about what she wants in her assignments. Everything is basically abstract, if you want to get a good grade, simple projects are her favorites. There isn't much room for creativity, the class is basically just learning the basics. However, if you don't like a grade she always lets you redo it to get a better grade.

I didn't enjoy this class at all. She seemed of no help when I asked her and if you didn't do the projects her way, you were bound to either fail or get a very low grade. I found the projects pointless and boring...probabl because of the lack of enthusiam she had in doing them. She didn't teach, but stated the project and you figure it out.

Mrs. B pretty much makes it clear that she does not like teaching 3D and her passion is ceramics. Make sure you really know what she wants for the projects because she seems a bit bipolar. If you want an A do organic/abstract whenever possible, because she seems to be bias towards that. The only thing that kept me sane was the group that I sat with

She is always willing to tell you what she thinks as long as you ask, and if you ask be prepared to hear the truth. She is a pretty easy professor to please and if you are really having trouble with a project she is willing to give “special projects” in their place which has the same aspects graded as the regular project but more doable.

Mrs. B is definitely rather flaky,(she is an artist, right?) but I found her to be very helpful, always willing to give suggestions. The class was kind of out of control, but she just seems kind of hippy-dippy when it comes to discipline anyhow. I had fun in the class.

As long as you do what she tells you to do, you'll do fine. She's kind of flaky when she talks, and is good about taking up class time for slides and talking when you need it most. Be on time, and don't miss any days--she doesn't accept any excuses, even if they are valid and truthful.

Mrs. Basmadjian, or B is not a 3D art teacher, so don't take 3D art with her! She doesn't explain anything properly so everything you do is wrong! She will find ways you can improve everything, and expects you to. If it's made of cheap materials she'll hate it. If it's not solid gold, it's crap! Don't take this class!! Take Mr. Littel's section

Take this from someone else if you can! She is so unclear and doesn't really teach. You never know when things are due, and she has absolutly no controll over the class, it's always loud and she just tries to yell over people. She doesn't seem to plan projects out and I've bought supplies that don't work for assigned projects...very frustrating.

Not very structured. Confusing directions. Doesn't control a classroom very well. Lots of immature kids in this class and no control. Otherwise easy class with easy assignments if you can figure out what she wants. Nice as a person though. Don't recommend taking this instructor don't think you learn much about 3-D.

she doesn't like u being absent or leaving early but it makes sense becuz art takes time, hence u need 2 b in class. i needed this class & took her only bcuz she fit in my sched. she does have faves& only helps them& also she is 1 of the most unclear profs ive had. very flaky it was more like clay therapy than a fine arts class but i survived =)

This was a horrible class. I just took it cuz it was an OT requirement but AVOID taking it if you can. She expects everyone to be on the same artistic level as she is and she has favorites. She also grades hard for an Art class. Get's VERY MAD if you don't show up to class or leave early!
