Comment:

Very hard class. Her tests are tough and you need to study a lot to be ready for them. However, I thought she was excellent at explaining calculus and other math theories. She is always willing to help you during her free time and is very nice about it. Slackers should not take her for any course.

She's nice, but material is hard. Print outline, take good notes in class, basically the textbook. Tests are really hard, study notes hardcore, study HW hardcore. Supposed to be a curved class, but ECON wiz kids destroyed it, along with my grade T_T Book is not needed at all. Overall, she's not bad, just hard material.

She's got a huge accent for one. The class is not easy but not impossible. Be sure to do the homework because that will make or break your overall grade. The exams are difficult even if you study hard. Grades on a huge curve. Group project is a breeze. Attendance not mandatory. Work hard and earn a good grade.

Comment:

Thick accent and poor quality professor. This lady seems knowledgable and friendly. Yet, her ability to clearly explain the material, control her pace, or write comprehensible notes is subjacent. I would not recommend her for a college level course. At least not until she refines her teaching skills.

She's been her over 16 years and still difficult to understand her with accent. Just rambles on with lecture without permissible time for questions and when you go to her office hours she just explains things without clearly showing examples

She's great! My favorite thing about her is that she moves through the information at a fast pace, but if you need her to slow down, all you have to do is ask. She's funny and nice and responds very quickly to emails. I would take ECON again just to have her as a teacher, even though its not my major.

Awesome teacher. Very detailed powerpoints that are great to review with to prepare for the test. Strong accent, but you get used to it. She's young and really is more like a friend than a teacher, so it's easy to ask her questions without feeling intimidated. She's SUPER smart. Uses aplia. picks names randomly for attendance. Great teacher overall

She is a very good teacher, her accent is a little tough but then you get use to it. She is super nice and super helpful. It is a tough class so get prepared to work your butt off 3 tests and homework. you can really learn from the homework and attendance is not mandatory but it is a math class, so you should go.

Comment:

Nice person, but not so good teacher. Her somewhat annoying, monotone voice and thick accent make it impossible to stay awake in the class. After 30min half the class is asleep. You have to rely on the book and the material is difficult. She requires you to spend $70 for some online site to turn in the homework. I cannot recommend this teacher.

Her accent is a little tough to understand and she talks really fast, but you get used to it. She teaches from the book and explains pretty well. Her test questions are very vague and much harder than the homeworks and review problems. Luckily she grades on a huge curve. She gives 2 tests and a group project, final is optional.

tests based off of notes which are on blackboard. There are 8 HW, 3 written answers to King's book. 3 tests and an optional final. I think she does a great job giving examples in class, and has even given an answer to a HW problem. She curves tests. She's always willing to help you and answer questions. Great professor and class.

This teacher offers optional final where it can only better your grade. Take the first 3 tests and do well on them so you don't have to take the final. The grades are curved. Teacher is a little bit hard to understand because of her accent but if you ask questions, she'll be more than happy to help. Print out the notes she has on blackboard.

Great teacher, VERY helpful-even made arrangements outside of her frequent office hours to meet with me. Dont buy the book, unless youve never taken any econ before. Tests are difficult, but only because I was always late- I still pulled off a B- in the class.

Super nice lady! She's super helpful during office hours n in class. Don't buy the book just study her lectures and chapter notes for tests religiously and you can get a good grade. Curves the class and sometimes gives xtra credit. Drops one exam so if you do good u don't have to do a final. HW kinda hard but go to office hours n she'll help a lot

her class is easy as long as you do the homework and study her lecture notes. i recommend you to attend every class. once you miss one, you will not understand some concept even you read the notes. She follows the schedule on time. Great professor! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This class is hard if you routinely skip class, but even then, you can get a C. The homework is easy, the tests are more diffcult. She's really helpful and if you actually crack the book you could do really well on the tests.
