he def. wants his students to learn, do the homework and youll be fine. give him the respect he deserves and hell treat you the same. sometimes its a little hard to follow him because we are just learning and he speaks fast wtih an accent, but hes very helpful

Brilliant teacher. Very understanding and more knowledgeable in his field than any teacher I've ever had. He is not tough or mean, ever. Never loses his patience. Loves to talk about Spanish culture, so it's more than just a class about pronunciation and conjugation. Best Spanish teacher at Penn State-Abington, and it's not even close.

One of the best teachers I've had at PennSt. This guy knows his material. Smart, well mannered, and well dressed-Si!. Show up for class and participate, and you will do well. The man just wants you to learn about Spanish Culture and language. He wants you to do well, Not many teachers can boast that.

Nice, easygoing guy; likes to play the tough guy, but he's not. Way more interactive than other Spanish teachers - lots of call and response. Tests are very easy, not concerned so much with grades, more that you learn about Spanish/Latin American culture. One cultural project (a long essay), one short essay, maybe 4 or 5 quizzes/short tests.

Great guy. He is very educated about his subject and always has something interesting to say about the culture to make the class more user friendly. Has an honest interest in seeing his students succeed and isn't overly strict about trivial things. His tests are appropriate and clear study guides are given for them. Has a sense of humor. PACHANGA!!

dont buy the book. tests are the same as the study guide. i got an A- and didnt put any effort. only outside of class work i did was for my movie review and take home test. he lets you at early and is very cool

awesome guy. seems really intimidating at first, but is really easy. if you have questions, he will answer them. easy grader and really nice guy. i had like 2 tests where i shouldve had like a 50, but i got B's cuz he saw how and why i messed up on the tests.

Outstanding language teacher.More interested in students understanding how to communicate than the details of grammer and vocab. Requires perfect attendance and active participation. Knowledge of all things Spanish and Italian (history, culture, lang., you name it).World traveller unlike most lang. teachers he has been there and done it.Must take!

I took him for all 3 levels and he's great. Take him in the summer. His classes are more helpfull then. This is an active class which makes learning easier, and his quizzes arent bad either. Big plus: THERE'S NEVER A FINAL!

I got A's and B's, volunteered all the time, did the homework, and the one day I forgot my work he tries to lecture me for 10 minutes on why I should do it. Man, if he only spent half as much time making sure everyone else did their HW, which they didnt...

He is an awesome teacher! He is so laid back and nice. He really goes out of his way to help his students. His class is not difficult, and no text books are required. Just remember to take good notes, study, and pay attention in class.
