Comment:

Tom was an alright teacher. Gave good critiques and advice. The only issue was that he didn't like answering the same question multiple times, and that was because the projects weren't explained very well, which made a lot of students fall behind. He also only showed us the syllabus once and doesn't use canvas.

Tom is a character. He is super funny and sarcastic. He knows what he is talking about, and gives great feedback. He makes me excited for a career in Graphic Design! I am taking him next semester for Logo & Business Design. I learned a lot in this class, and it was just fun to go to at the same time! He is very honest, & I like that about a prof!

Tom truly cares about his students and their success. He makes sure that he's involved with their entire process and design on a personal level and makes sure that he understands his students' styles before he critiques or gives suggestions. Without Tom, it would be hard for me to know what I want to do with my degree and what my strengths are.

Tom is awesome. He makes class a lot of fun, while also pushing the class to be productive. He not only teaches you skills for the class, but also for a job setting. He is incredibly honest when it comes to critiques, and will make sure you turn in your best work.

Man I'm Really speechless when I try to explain how amazing Tom is. he is the best prof EVER! If I can take all my classes with him I will do it. he makes me love Graphic Design. he dedicates his time to every one of us equally. he can teaches you a lot and he is hilarious ,humble and make you feel like he is your old buddy !

I guess Tom means well, but he complains about the smallest things to the point of it being bothersome. Also, I didn't understand how some students received information about assignments while others didn't. How does that happen? Overall, if you do take him for one or more courses, be prepared to have critiques that last a very long time.

I really liked this class even though I did have it 6 hr. on fridays. Tom is a funny guy who has comebacks if you get sassy or whiny. He's helpful and pushings you to do your best. Be prepared to make a lot of sketches otherwise he'll use his invisible stamp that says MORE.

Tom is great. He cares about the students and is very forgiving, BUT he is also very strict and wants everybody to develop so he'll push you positively. He is open to questions and likes to answer them. Sometimes he has mood swings though, but they're funny.

Very tough, but gets his wisdom from the Creative Design business. Can be brutally honest at times, but his critical attitude is always for a purpose. Plus, he emphasized with me when I fell asleep a lot.
