Comment:

Dr. Heinemann is a great man, don't get me wrong, but his health is becoming too much of a hinderance to his teaching. I can tell that he is a theory genius, but I have definitely not learned a year's worth of theory this year. Like I said, I don't think poorly of Dr. Heinemann, I just think he needs to retire.

This professor is excellent on so many levels. I took as many classes from him as I could in my time at Bradley. He's tough, but work hard for him, and he'll work hard for you. Plus he's hilarious. Witty, talented, and kind. The trifecta of a perfect composition professor.

Dr. H is the best teacher I've ever had. Clarinet lessons and theory are so enjoyable with him. He is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, helpful, and always professional even though I also view him as a good friend. Dr. Heinemann is beyond cool, and I learned so much from him.

I had him for Music Theory 3 and 4. Heinemann is one of the best teachers at bradley. period. tough class, but if you pay attention, (not hard to do) then you'll have a great time. He has an excellent sense of humor, and loves to make jokes. If you don't get his humor, you may feel a bit lost, but I loved him. Highest Recommendations :)

This guy is great. I have him as my composition professor and in the Theory class, and it's a blast being in there. He's an excellent instructor and knows his****. Honestly, one of the most intelligent guys i have ever met. Note: Sprees are the official candy of the department.

I've had Dr. H for several classes and the man is a genius. I have never heard anyone explain theory in a way that was so intriguing. Makes you want to learn, and if you go to class, you can't help but pick it up. More than willing to help too, fun!!

One of the best teachers I have ever had, and some of the best classes I have ever taken. He's pretty laid back and quite hilarious, so class is always interesting. He really loves music and makes you want to be a better musician.
