Lets just say if you do not go to class you're pretty much screwed. Tests are super hard and all the homeworks are long and pointless. I would definitely not suggest taking Crawford.

Comment:

Terrible teacher, doesn't explain anything. Rambles all the time, very hard to understand what he's saying. Talks more about his family trips and experiences than anything. I attended almost every class and still was lost.

Comment:

Pretty good teacher. Tends to ramble off subject about his family... A LOT. Easy to follow notes. You'll have to learn map locations strictly for tests which basically just adds extra credit into the tests. Overall I'd recommend him, pretty easy class.

seemed really easy, a bit goofy and talks about random things sometimes, about 7 homework assignments (article responses and a movie assignment), attendance is taken 10 random times, tests aren't hard, 3 multiple choice tests, final isnt cumulative, got an A, I personally didn't need the book but def. get the online thing, can be bought separately.

Dr. Crawford is a great professor. He is definitely on the nerdy side, but it's absolutely hilarious. The class is extremely easy as long as you attend class and do the work. His tests are heavily based on examples from lectures, so attendance is important! Plus, you get extra credit for attendance. Easy A as long as you do the work!

This class is very challenging to me, I did not do well on the tests. Its extremely boring but even if you fail all tests you can get a C in the class. There is a lot of hw assignments that really boosts your grade. If you come to class he gives you bonus points at the end. Being in class is dreadful but the way he calculates final grades is good.

This class was HORRIBLE. he does NOT know how to teach. he is ALL over the place when he teaches and most of the stuff is irrelevant to class. he does give other assignments to TRY and help your grade. he does have favorites in the class. DONT take him if you do not have to. I would take Alderman if u need a Geog course. Never cancels class

He is really weird but thats what makes him funny at times. he says "alright" and "um" after he finishes every sentence literally. His testing material is on pretty much anything he talks about. attendance is not mandatory but he takes it on 10 random days. overall really not that bad of a class.

Don't take this class if you get annoyed. His notes are helpful but some things on tests come from books, articles, and any other out of class assignments. He is kinda weird, and tends to say "alright" and "um" a lot. I would not take this class. It's boring.

This class wasn't too hard. But don't be lazy. Gives easy assignments that can help boost your grade. Tests are difficult so you have to study. Helpful guy go see him in his office hours. Attendance isn't required but recommended. Adds extra to your grade if you miss under 3 days or something like that.

DO NOT take this class if people annoy you very easily. He says the word right after every single sentence! If you don't go to class you will not pass a single test. He teaches from his slides but the last two test there were random questions he didn't go over. You are given a study guide but if you don't go to class you cant answer them.

Terrible Professor. He's annoying and he can't seem to help you with anything. If you email him, he never emails back. He also has a clock in the back of the room that's about 5 minutes slow so he always keeps you late. I do NOT recommend him.

Dr. Crawford was my supervisor back during the fall of 2006. I was a work-study student in the geography department during this time. Dr. Crawford did not help me learn anything for this job. He also did not provide me with breaks during this job.(Violation of university policy). While working on this job I basically was on my own.

This class was ridiculous, he would get there early to attempt to pass out our previous reading assignments and then he'd forget. He keeps you in class at least 2 to 3 minutes past when you should be getting out, HELLO some of us do have other classes to go to. Tests are dumb, slightly hard, but dumb and they have map questions which is easy.

Dr. Crawford is an interesting guy. He's really into what he teaches, which I think is cool. He cracks me up because some of the things he says are just so ridiculous. It was a pretty easy class. His tests are all based on class lectures and he gives you a study guide for each one. Overall, I recommend the class.
