Amazing teacher. Very knowledgeable and funny. He cares about his students' success. I've never coded before, so the class was hard. He gives you a lot of optional programs to practice with (not for credit). DO THEM. They prepare you for your tests which can be difficult. His lectures are awesome, but you need to self-motivate to prepare for tests.

Dr. Lu's teaching style is amazing! he really loves what he does, he is always very clear with the instructions and if you need help he is willing to help you out. He has a great sense of humor and is also very philosophical and makes the class enjoyable for everyone.

I took Lu's class for Visual Programming. When I asked for clarification on what some program generated code did, he told me that I didn't need to understand it because the program wrote it for me. ...right. Why would I need to understand how it works?!

Pretty good teacher. The difficulty of the class does not effect the fact that T. Lu was quite the good teacher. Didn't really expect much help on a college level type of class but the in class help was more beneficial to me than personal help.
