he is a moron. he does not know how to teach, so just doesn't. always asks if anyone is following, everyone responds "no" and he just says "well. learn it later." assigns ridiculous homeworks that are not related to anything he is teaching, because he just pulls them from other professors. has no sense of time.

you can tell roy cares about his students and cares and wants us to learn but he sucks at teaching.2 tests are 40% of grade. labs can be time consuming but do them all, tests suck and ur only chance of doing well is if u knew the material before taking this class.just do all the labs and hope for the best on tests and hopefully ull get a good grade

Roy is hard to understand, he rushes through his powerpoints that just have pictures copied and pasted from the textbook onto them. Lab is cool though. Lingo, Mehemet & Krishna (the TA's) are awesome! So glad the overall grade is 50% lecture and 50% lab ...

He has no idea how to run a class. All of his explanations are "Do this, do that, draw this line here, and that's it. Understand?" Then if you ask a question he gets pissed off and does an even worse job explaining the material. He can't speak english to save his life and the TAs are disorganized. Says "ISN'T IT?" 30 times a class (I counted once)

Worst professor I have had so far. He cant teach, he can only read and he flies through his powerpoints. Also, really hard to understand. Too bad he is the only professor for this class. Look forward to lab though!

Doesn't have a clue how to teach, you get my idea? His grading is inconsistent and he is incapable of properly communicating any idea. Lectures consist primarily of "draw this line, this line here, this line here, this line here, you get my idea? isn't it!" repeated for the entire period.

One of the most incompetent instructors I have ever worked with. His class is a scar on the college of engineering and the university as a whole. His class is disorganized and his expectaions are unclear. He fails to acctually teach anyone anything.

This is a required class and he's the only professor. Every other class is very easy because half of them are in the computer labs and you learn to use ProE. But the classroom sections he dedicates to learning how to draft by hand. Not only is this pointless, it's time consuming as well. He also signs rediculously large amounts of homework.

The class is necessary for engineers, but it's pointless. If you took any technology courses in High School then you'll get an A for this class. Only two tests, a midterm and a final. He taught pretty good, no one ever needed to go to office hours though. Awesome guy, wish he taught all my classes.
