She's a good professor. I took her over the summer, and was glad with this class as shes extremely nice. The quizzes and tests are fairly easy, just do the HW, although not mandatory; and an A is semi easy to get.

Comment:

There are daily quizzes which are pretty easy because they're from the material covered the day before. Doing the homework definitely helps. Expect the questions on the exam to be more challenging. Feel free to ask her questions if your lost, she's very friendly. This class isn't too bad but does require a lot of studying.

Very nice and clear at explaining. Go over problems many times just to clarify. She give out over 100+ extra credit points so don't get too stressed about tests. There are constant pop quizzes so just do hw every night and you will be fine.

Ok dont listen to the ratings below, they wore the drops outs of the Spring-2010 101B class. She gives 120 points extra credit, so even if you bomb the test you can still get over 100%. shes really easy if you do the hw.

I would not recommend this teacher for this subject, especially NOT in the summer. My advice is to take another class in the summer and try for someone else in the Fall. For those who are hopeful in doing well and have the mindset of working hard, it's not going to turn out well unless you have already taken this subject.

Loukianoff is one of the worst professors I've ever had, and I'm not just saying this because she is hard. She just puts problems on the board with out teaching, and trying to read the textbook is completely useless. I've had a 4.0 GPA in math and was going to major in it. After her class, I switched to Biology!!

Useless Lectures, No math instruction, Just throws problems on the board and rarely teaches and allows the students to teach.. No one was ever interested in going to her Precalculus Class, boring, worst teacher ever. She can probably teacher Algebra but not Precalculus, you have to study on your own in her class, she is merciless with her grading.

She doesn't really explain well, there were more than 40 people on my class at the beginning of semester and 2 months after there were like 25 people, she is very tough!!! hard grader, but helps a little at the final exam, you will have difficulties to pass the class unless you are a genius in math, otherwise I recommend not to take her class

study the homework. tests and quizes come from them.they are not hard if you study them.many people were absent and expect to get good grades.listen carefully to her.she teaches fast and doesnt give lots of examples.there were many times that i could not catch up but went to lapsi and math lab instead.dont miss a lesson it will be hard to cath up.

If you're lazy, bad with attendance, and just don't care about your grade, don't even bother taking her class. Otherwise, I found her to be quite helpful. If you ask her, she won't turn you away. Her tests are short and hw is crucial.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS it may be an easy class to take but she cant teach at all she gives quizzes almost everyday and a test right after..she doesnt help students, she tells us to go to tutoring instead. if you want to keep your gpa up, do not take her..it seems like she wants her students to fail VERY UNHELPFUL!

In the beginning she seems easy, but then I've noticed that she just look for samples in the book and lets us do it on ourself without really explaining the material well. Mostly like half of the class dropped after the 3rd test. She is a nice person, but I don't see her as a good teacher.

She's an alright professor. Even though her lectures are not exactly understandable and can be quite dull, she never hesitates to spend her time to help you understand the subject IF you ask her.
