Comment:

Simone is wonderful. He makes learning Italian fun and entertaining. You have to attend class, or you'll fall behind. He is very specific about what will be on quizzes/tests so as long as you study accordingly you'll be fine. I had him twice and I'd take him again if I had the option.

Generally an all around good teacher. Can be a bit *too* snarky with students if he is having a bad day, but still a likeable guy with good stories and diverse knowledge. Work load is slightly above average, can miss class if you're not excessive about it. Wouldn't mind taking another class with him

Quite possibly one of the greatest teachers I've ever had. Not only is he fair to students, but he is extremely accessible and gifted at teaching. Beyond being able to get to know such an amazing person, you will learn SO MUCH taking his classes. Recommended 10 times over.

Simone is easily my favorite professor at SLU! He makes Italian fun and interesting, and he's always willing to put in extra effort to make sure you succeed in his class. I know he teaches ITAL 110 too, so if you don't want to wait until 2XX to have him, you could take his intro class. He's a straight up fantastic teacher. A++

Simone is, by far, one of the best teachers at SLU. I's easy to get a good grade in his class as long as you actually go to class and participate. But, you actually learn in his class, too. And not just how to speak Italian. He's one of the most generous and caring professors I've ever met, and he will go out of his way to help any student.

Simone is a source of inspiration to his students, he is very smart and cultured, while he is as well a sensitive guy who really loves his job.(this days it is hard to see this) His classes are interesting and entretaining, try to meet him on a personal level. be in class and learn with him (learning with him is fun). This guy is AWESOME! He is so laid back. He is helpful, easy, fun, and interesting. Probably the best teacher I've had. Most likely, everyone gets an A if you show up and participate. He teaches you about the culture, and even slang words. Highly recommend!

Take this class. In fact take every class you can with him. He is Italian, smart, very very funny, and makes learning a lang. fun. because of him I want to move to italy. I have had him 3 semesters and will take him at least twice more. Teachers do not get better or more liked than simone!
