Professor Parisi was awesome. He really takes care in helping his students understand the material and will go over the material thoroughly in class. Do the homework if not the tests are going to be rough. Put in the work and You will get an A. Highly recommend!

Comment:

Parisi is amazing!!! He explains everything well and will help if you're stuck. He always gives homework but its basically optional. The class is long and boring but its worth taking him for a great grade. There are many quizzes but he reviews before the quiz and lets you use notes on some of them. He's a great prof I would highly recommend him.

SUCH A GREAT PROFESSOR!!!first time i actually understand this material. Listen if you are coming to MATH CLASS to be on your phone, yes the class will be tough, because you will be lost with the material. If you pay attention and if you do the homework you will pass. He gives you plenty of chances to get a good grade.

As a first time student after a 10 year gap from high school, I felt Prof Parisi really cares to get the material embedded into his students head. It was difficult learning new things at times, often i remembered how certain things work, but the prof was always supportive. He also replies to his emails promptly.

Comment:

Great personality, tough to follow as a professor. If anyone had a question he would tell us to hold off. Cheat sheets were allowed on tests, but tests were very tough. The final was fairly easy though. He assigns a lot of homework & offers extra credit. Make sure you don't miss any classes or you'll be completely lost.

Summer session Calc 2, 5 HWs 20 pts each 1 test. 4 other tests, drops lowest grade. Final last day of class. Lectures are great, concepts are clearly outlined. HW assigned nightly, not mandatory but obviously essential to passing ANY math course. If you do the work, you will do well. Put in effort, Parisi was great!

Professor Parisi was awesome at teaching Pre Calc. Extremely knowledgable, great personality, and very straight forward. You have to study to do well but he does a great job at helping you. Always there to help as well. If he is teaching any higher level math classes I would take him again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic professor. Took Calc 2 during the summer with him. He tries to explain difficult topics pretty well. Assigned homework every night but only collected a few of them as part of your grade. His tests were not bad at all, threw in a tricky question now and then but they are do able. When it comes to getting the A in any math class, do the HW!

Prof. Parisi is a very good teacher. He covers material very quickly, but then reviews it in-depth; you'll find that you understand more about the concepts than you thought you did. His tests are fair, and he gives partial credit. I'd highly recommend.

I really enjoyed having Prof Parisi. He is one of the nicest people out there. He is always willing to make himself available for help. He also is in the Math Learning Center so there is always a way to find him. His tests are extremely fair and the way he teaches is clear. He will stop his lecture just to answer your questions. I highly recommend!

Having struggled in math since high school, I needed a good professor in order to do well in the class. Parisi was fantastic. He took precalculus and made it seem as simple as elementary. Very helpful and laid back. he understands that were not all going to grow up to be mathmetitians and is there to help you do well.

If every professor was like professor Parisi the world would be a better place. He loves what he does and you can tell. He is willing to go over and above helping his students to understand the curriculum and succeed. He spends count less hours in the MLC. Your fault if you do not recieve an A. Hands down best teacher/professor i've ever had.

Honestly the best professor I've ever had at Suffolk. Nice guy who cares about everyone in the class equally. He is crystal clear, if you show up to class you will get it. Like any Math class, homework is pretty much a necessity to learn the material. Best part is I actually know the material now! Got a B+ in the class.

Fantastic prof. I would take him again and recommend him to everyone. He loves math and is an excellent teacher. He understands that not everyone is great at math. Very willing to spend extra time going over something if you don't understand it right away. I really wish he taught Calculus. I would take him again in a heartbeat.

Extremely nice professor. Really wants to give you foundations of mathematics to build on. Loves math above all things. Terrible e-mail response time, but helpful when you get a hold of him. I got a lot more involved with math after this class. Very much recommend this prof

Prof.Parisi is a gentleman. He is passionate about mathematics which often makes for an unsympathetic professor but once he realizes that math is not the world to everytone else he is awesome.Highly recommend. He's not easy or hard. Its the material in this class that holds students back.
