Professor Blaer is one of the best teachers I have ever had. His lectures are incredibly clear and he is tremendously helpful both as a lecturer and at his office hours. I have no hesitation in giving him my highest recommendation. Columbia is lucky to have him, he is a great teacher who really cares about students.
