Took her not for CHM 233 Lecture but for an Honors Recitation class. Literally your only job was to show up for once a week and pretend like your listening to her. Free 3 honors credits. She is a very sweet lady who cares very much and if your really into O-chem the topics will be interesting.

She went really fast over the material and I barely learned anything from her lectures. I mostly watched Chad's videos online and skipped the last month or so of class which dropped my grade from an A to a B+.

Dr. Moore is the sweetes human being ever, she is really nice and very approachable. If you need help don't be afraid to go to her office hours. Exams are identical to the practice exams and the homework problems. What helped me the most was reading the chapters and going to lecture. Participation is not taken but still go to class its interesting

Amazing professor!! I really learned Organic Chemistry through her class. Homework was unlimited attempts which helped.

Her class was very easy, too bad I slacked off this semester. She announced that is retiring for good after a 50 year old male student kept talking in class and she had to keep telling him to quiet down. Its so sad to see her retire since her lecture was so fun and probably made ochem bearable. She won't be teaching anymore after spring 2015.

She's a great teacher and really wants you to succeed. Do the homework and it helps to solidify the material after all organic chemistry is not an easy subject. She had 4 tests and a 50 question final overall she's very helpful and stayed after class to answer any questions you may have.

Just looking to get ochem over with? Don't really care if you remember the material a year from now? Take Moore. Exams AND overall course is curved, about a 40% overall and you can pass with a C.

You wanna pass? Take this class. Dr. Moore is a lot more generous with grades than Gould is, but not as thorough with the material. She curves all of her tests and drops your lowest scores on exams and homework. She can be really sassy; I definitely had a lot more fun in her lectures than in Gould's 7:30am's. Overall great professor.

Her curves on tests are extremely generous (usually 35% is a C). The lectures often leave students lost, but she provides practice exams, which really help. Visiting Moore in office hours or asking for help, she'll try to help you, but can sometimes be unclear. If you really want to learn ochem, read the book, the lectures don't teach much

Study old exams, the tests are similar to it. Be there for the huge clicker questions. She curves very nice on tests. Take it if you want to at least pass with little effort. Read the book if you want to go more in depth of the material if you are majoring in biochemistry.

She went through lectures at a blinding pace and I had a hard time trying to figure out what she was talking about. I would have skipped lectures and learned from Chad's Review and the SI sessions if there were no clicker points.

Professor Moore is an amazing person who truly enjoys teaching ochem. Mind you, she does have an accent that can make it difficult to understand, sometimes. Her course is tough, but she curves generously on exams and the overall course, but don't take that to mean that you'll slide by without working your butt off. Use the practice exams to study!

Extremely generous curves. I'm PreMed and I felt like I learned what I needed to for the MCAT. On top of that, the "A" is nice for medical school applications!

She would fly through lecture slides before you could understand most concepts. She does have an Argentinian accent which makes it hard to understand her. I used Chad's Review and the book to help me understand the material. She is a very nice person and has a very generous curve (35% was a C was the biggest on one of our tests).

Great class, halfway through the semester she started giving out free clicker question points, she gives a ton of optional homework from selected questions from the book, which all have the answers given, I used those to help study. Do well on the first test, because the class becomes challenging quickly after that.

I never thought it would be so easy to get 2 As for Ochem. Prof Moore is great and a lot of her exams come from old exams. Lectures are a bit boring but clicker points make attendance mandatory. Would definitely take prof Moore again if I could

Super awesome professor. She's really nice and pretty good at getting the core ideas across clearly. It's still a difficult class though. I had to study quite a bit and use some other resources like clutch prep to fully understand the tough concepts. Put in the work and you can do well. The curve doesn't hurt either ;)

Ana Moore was an absolute delight. I am yet another individual who had difficulty in Gould's class but then went in Moore's and excelled. She is relatively clear during lectures, but if you are not constantly reading the book, clickers will be difficult. Good thing is they are worth <10% of the grade. Study clickers for exams & prac probs. Curves!

Really fun teacher, really helps you learn Organic Chemistry to a certain degree. The course was what a 200 level course should be. If you want the "A" take Moore. If you are taking OCHEM for MCAT prep, supplement the class with Chad's Reviews, Gould's lectures or even Houtchen's lectures. Learning from all angles will help for MCAT.
