Comment:

Dr. Stover is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She is so helpful when it comes to essays and gives really good feedback while you are writing to help you improve. She is very willing to meet outside of class through zoom to help with anything you need. Would for sure take her again if I had the chance.

Comment:

Dr. Stover is one of the sweetest people ever. She's always excited to be teaching and always has a smile on her face. Readings were always interesting and I really enjoyed the writing assignments she gave. She always gives great feedback on papers and writes notes. She does have you do some presentations as well but nothing too hard.

Dr. Stover is astoundingly brilliant, but has talent for making the accessible for all students and meeting each person where they are. Her passion for English and developing students is evident in the way she approaches each class period with enthusiasm and joy. She is accessible outside of class and encourages students to meet with her.

I LOVE HER!!! No grade is final, she lets you redo any paper that you want a better grade on. Sweetest lady ever, genuinely helps you grow as a writer. 3 essays but she gives time in class to work on it and guides you thru everything. Very relaxing and fun class that teaches you a lot!

Dr. Stover is easily one of the best professors I've had. I took her for an LCC Gender course and it was her first year teaching this class. She is so enthusiastic about her class, she is hilarious, caring, and wants what is best for her students. Assignments are easy but meaningful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Dr. Stover is incredible! She is so kind and easy to work with. Not only that but she is so cooky and fun. As someone who loves poetry, she's fantastic. I believe the students who don't normally like it are enjoying too! Very fun and informative course. Totally recommend Dr. Stover. She's not tough either!

She is WONDERFUL. Third Year Writing was so easy. 3 essays, the 2 longest/hardest are at the beginning of the semester, so you're not stressed during finals. She's genuinely kind, respectful, and has a great enthusiasm for teaching. You won't regret taking her class. I promise.

I loved Dr. Stover! There weren't many papers. The papers she did assign were went through extensively (several drafts, one on one meetings, revising) but it was all extremely helpful. All work given is due in an appropriate amount of time. She truly wants to help you become a better writer. One of the sweetest people I've met.

Dr. Stover is by far my favorite teacher yet!! She is so enthusiastic and helpful and she really cares about everyone in her class. She moved the due date of an essay back to give the class more time to work on it and she lets you redo any essay you want to improve the score. Would HIGHLY recommend!! Take her if you have the chance!!

Very nice person but focuses on the wrong topics for someone at our levels. We spent an entire extra week talking about quoting which I learned how to do in like seventh grade. She is such an easy grader but assignments are difficult to understand.

The class seems easy but her grading will confound you - but she allows you to rewrite everything. Make sure to do all of your box exercises! By the end of the semester you will be annoyed with the assignments but keep doing them so as not to ruin your grade... take the "research essay" seriously - I think it's what lowered my grade in the end.

I had her for First Year Writing- She's a super sweet lady, very easy to get along with. She really just wants to see your writing and wants you to be inspired. Doesn't trip up over rigid format. Taking her class made me a better writer.

Had her for poetry/art experience link cohort. Was an ok class which everyone hated, but loved her. So take that class, but just know that you will never understand the connection between to two subject's beyond what you can already guess.
